Your abandoned building episodes are so amazing. My mother and I used to do this exact same thing growing up. Looking my now, my fucking god it was dangerous! But it was an adventure, like archeology. Missed these. Much love from a fellow explorer, youtuber and all around weirdo
Coincidink! My son & I used to do this when we used to live in California when he was younger. He's now a teen & he randomly asked me the other day if we can urbex in New Jersey.
you got to be careful now uh days people get crazy or them kind of places are usually infested with drug activity, gang members,or murders or prostitution,or people can get robbed, its best to carry pepper spray or a taser with you
Sugarcat, wow, can I have your mother????? I would have loved to do this growing up. The neighborhood kids used to pack lunches and go behind the old VA hospital close to the foot hills. There is an old cemetary back a mile or so and we used to explore in that. We all had the bug then!! Good memories!
The paint in that place reminds me of a circus fun house! 🎪😂 It was great seeing my favorite abandoned property explorers together. Looking forward to more! 💕
Dan and Jacob! Love when they collaborate. I've been wanting them both to go back to their roots so to speak. I miss the abandoned videos. This was a real treat. Thanks guys. 💕

Love these! I wonder what that place looked like when people were living in it. I kept trying to imagine living and going about my daily business around so many primary colors and I started to get a headache. I wonder if the decor was just as strange lol.
It is but the fact is people likely had to leave for financial reasons and nobody could afford to buy it for a myriad of reasons. Perhaps in a not so great part of town. The same thing happens in St. Louis. It is sad but I am more sad for whatever happened to the people that had to leave.
Robert Sistrunk Blame it on Democrats? No, blame it on the de-industrialization of America’s cities, driving away the middle class and causing the abandonment of old homes that couldn’t be properly maintained by the lower-income residents that remained.
Love these vlogs you do,you are the best! This house must have been very impressive in its day. It would have been beautiful in light colours and so surprised to see the mirrors intact. More please!
Jacob exploring abandoned spaces was my favorite content from his channel I wish he was doing that more than side-show attractions. but do what you love, love you all!
What a unique place! That paint and decor!! It is kind of like Alice in Wonderland meets Stephen King. The ice cream truck - that was great. Great video guys!!
Gosh, Baltimore is a sad place. This abandoned flat with it's in your face cobalt blue walls has a Long John Silver's franchise meets punk frat house feel about it. The aura is just bloody weird. That is the way it rolls sometimes in the shady side of town lol. This said I enjoyed watching the creepy walkabout. The content is off to a great start this season. Thx for sharing, Dan. Have a great 2019.
I don't think people realize you're in Baltimore city. I've been going to abandoned houses all over Maryland and PA for 30+ years. It's creepy at night but cops and maybe a bum are all you have to worry about. In bmore, whew, yeah, people not from this town don't realize how dangerous this can be!
The death sentence doesn’t come with a free casket or headstone though. . Might be able to find those in one of the oddly plentiful abandoned hospitals in the surrounding area 🤷🏽♀️ all the REALLY bad ones have been destroyed so you might have a chance at getting something nice ;)
I've thought about buying one of these houses, they are always for sale CHEAP I mean like $20,000 cheap. Problem isn't the houses, it's the locals and surrounding communities with all of the crime and drugs. With the Citizen app and the Baltimore sun murder map you can see crime happened everyday and chances are the house will be broken into, destroyed looking for scrap metal, used as drug houses, burned down, etc. Only way to make money with these houses I think would be to buy them CHEAP less than $20,000 spend maybe the same amount rebuilding them, having them appraised for 4x what you spent and when the local criminals and drug addicts and homeless burn it down claim the insurance money for 4x what you have invested. Sad but I think it's the reality. You can't just fix them up into beautiful rentals because they will just be trashed in a matter of time.
Back to the good old days of dan bell love your content no matter what it is great work from a great man thanks for all the work you do to entertain we all truly appreciate it keep it up much respect :)
@@pinkfreud62 Well yeah, it's a flop house now but I'm sure in the last 100 years that the building has been there many many good memories were made. It clearly was once a very nice home.
@@OhanaFilms ya i agree at one time that was just a normal nice house with normal people living in it earning a honest living. Ive basically lived in the same house my whole life im 28 and would hate to see if i or my family move and the house gets torn down id be so sad. So many memories good and bad if only my walls could talk.
Makes me wonder if the USPS is missing a lot of cans of its blue paint! Seriously, though, if the heat was adequate in the winter and the water was reliable---and you had your own biffy---a lot of people would be comfortable in this place. When I was looking for new digs, I saw a few going establishments similar to this, only less destruction and decay. But at least it provided low income housing, right? Add my vote to those asking for more exploration of abandoned places, please!
You should employ yellow hard hats and vests. Everyone who seen you would just assume you're from a state or federal agency, might even be able to bullshit yourselves out of encounters with civilians.
Hey dude. Your amazing. Do you have any plans ahead to start producing any 360 or vr work? I would absolutely love to go kn one of these elplorations with you and your friends in vr.

Hey thanks Dan and Carpetbagger! 2 of my favorites!
This is one of the classics!

My favorite Dan Bell episode, the classic abandoned house/building. Good for you man, you're killing it for 2019 ! :) I love it !
Good times! Loved my tour of Baltimore
The Carpetbagger this must be an old video new upload, I remember when he showed you around in your video.
Glad to see you were safe! As a Baltimorean native i wish i was there with you guys!
What street was this in baltimore?
We need more Dead Mall series and more of this. Those are my favorite content from Dan Bell. Plus your scary videos. Those are fun too.

Keep up the great work dan bell love your work....
That old place had some bold decorators. Thanks Dan!
Love these! I wonder what that place looked like when people were living in it. I kept trying to imagine living and going about my daily business around so many primary colors and I started to get a headache. I wonder if the decor was just as strange lol.
Was it originally a large single family home like a small mansion?
That poor little plastic dinosaur. I would have taken it home and given it a bath, and then it could live on my mantel piece.
That's how I am too lol I feel bad for inanimate objects lol
Always love the Baltimore stuff, plus the Carpetbagger! What a treat, Dan. Thanks!
What a shame that such a huge beautiful house was left to rot like that
I agree! It makes me very angry!

Blame Democrats for making it so expensive to live there.
Like Detroit. You can tell there were alot of beautiful homes back in the day. :(
Robert Sistrunk Blame it on Democrats? No, blame it on the de-industrialization of America’s cities, driving away the middle class and causing the abandonment of old homes that couldn’t be properly maintained by the lower-income residents that remained.
During the first shot of you walking up the stairs, for some reason my brain interpreted it as going down stairs. Trippy as hell.
It looked that way to me too.
excellent video like always dan, been watching for 2 years now and let me say my friend, YOU are amazing at what you do! don’t stop anytime soon ;)
The brothers like bright, gaudy colors.
These houses are amazing like mansions it sucks to see them in such a state of decay 🙁 thanks for sharing!
Love these vlogs you do,you are the best! This house must have been very impressive in its day. It would have been beautiful in light colours and so surprised to see the mirrors intact. More please!
Almost looks like it was a daycare at one point in time
I got the same feeling.
I thought that, too!
same

That huge mantle with the little dinosaur on it, that should be rescued before it gets ruined. It looked like mahogany.
Looks like it was converted into some kind of daycare center.

Love to see you guys go back to exploring abandoned stuff together.
I love both of these guy's channels!!
That tree growing where it is looks crazy, shows how long it's been empty !
Basically what 60% of Baltimore looks like
Really? Wow, that’s sad.
Yes it does, I got out in 87...
Sure does. Hagerstown is not any better.
Like Detroit, much of it needs to be bulldozed
Nice place, is it for sale? What are the comps in the area?
Retail Archaeology the ice cream truck occasionally comes by. That’s about it...
You don't want to live there unless you have a death wish.
Its a free death sentence
The death sentence doesn’t come with a free casket or headstone though. . Might be able to find those in one of the oddly plentiful abandoned hospitals in the surrounding area 🤷🏽♀️ all the REALLY bad ones have been destroyed so you might have a chance at getting something nice ;)

Very cool explore!! Thank you Dan for uploading all your cool vids!!
looks like a daycare that was very poorly painted.
Always nice to see both Jacob and you in the same video.
I have been waiting for this day!!! Also for the one with Colin from Paranormal Files. Love your work Mr Bell
It's always entertaining when you get together with the Carpetbagger! Please come out to Portland some day, we'd love to show you around ^_^
I can only imagine how pretty this was when it was first built! Glad to see a new video! Missed your vids!
Dan is definitely someone i look up to as an urban explorer.
Wow! This was a ways back! Jacob's chops are shorter and he's using his old camera!
When was this filmed? Jacob's muttonchops are a lot bigger now, and I don't remember the last time he used that HandiCam...?
5/31/16
We've got a detective over here
Bigger?!
that blue prob didn't even look nice when it was new. it is like they had their 10yearold design and paint the interior.
I’d be afraid of those floors collapsing.
Great video Dan! Nice to see you and Jacob filming together! Love ya!❤🤗❤
I miss these old abandoned videos! :)
9:16 the ice cream man be looking like Big Worm from the movie: Friday with the wire wheels on the ice cream truck. 🤣

Missed your abandoned videos, good to see one.
Dan B and Jacob are TH-cam gold!!!
Awesome that Jacob gets to join you. I hope he takes you to a road side attraction or amusement park.
I can just imagine the look on the ice cream man's face when you two came running out of an abandoned building screaming for rocky road.
Nothing surprises the icecream man here in the city 🤣
It's sad to think that this home at one time was filled with good memories, like birthdays, Christmas mornings, family dinners, etc.
It was a flophouse. Not really too family oriented, but I suppose those things happened there, too.

Man, Rick got bald.
Back to your roots Dan in MD- I love it!
Abandoned houses make me feel so depressed. Love your videos, Dan.
Dan "give 'em hell" Bell
“Are you ready?”...”I am”... very ominous fellas lol trying to figure out what a flop house is. Very beautiful decay
Looks like it used to be a daycare possibly. Great video from two of the best youtubers!
Wow, that house is bigger than it looks. Looks kinda small on the outside. 🤷🏽♀️
avastacia right!...how many rooms was it??
glad to see some more content and a familiar face as a guest explorer
dude! dan bell and jacob together? That is like a dream come true. love you guys

2 of my favorite explorers at it again!
Its funny. Because i thought it was a bird on the plaster light switch...
I love the colors of the decor in that house. It was probably beautiful once.
Paint looks like old Baltimore Colts blue and white . My Dad used to paint everything blue and white in the 70s and 80s .
You're a legend, Dan!
That wall murdering tree is my new hero! XD
Wow! That place looks like a Warholian nightmare. Nice to see two of my favorite TH-camrs teamed up!
That ice cream truck in the background! **shudder**
It looks sooooooooo scary there please be careful!
I agree...what a shame you can clearly tell it use to be a majestic home
A little paint, few trash bags and some duct tape it would be nice.
You sound like my dad.😂
BUDDY LIGHT lol
#bringbackasbestos
Or a bulldozer.
So would some gasoline and a match.
So the ice cream truck music added another level of a creepy vibe to an already creepy place. :O
Dan and Jacob together again! The only thing that would make this better is some compressed air to make the CB scream.
You should employ yellow hard hats and vests. Everyone who seen you would just assume you're from a state or federal agency, might even be able to bullshit yourselves out of encounters with civilians.
Jacob and Dan, AWESOME COMBO!!
Dan and Jacob! Cool collab guys! Enjoyed
Two of my favorite people!
A Jacob and Dan collaboration!
Ahhhh I needed that! Thank you 😚👌👊
Im always waiting for something crazy to happen when Dan (and Jacob) go into these places

It's like Candyman and The People Under the Stairs banged The Wire in a sad loss of beautiful architecture kind of way
The Dynamic Duo!
I expected that house to be in even worse shape.
Thanks again Dan.
Come to CA and do the dead mall in Merced and the moldy Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto.
Damn I think I know where you are!!! Sad how bad Baltimore has gotten and hopefully it gets built up again in those spots :/

definitely thought someone was coming in the door for a second at 1:47
