Thanks for this video. I wasn't really sure how to use the single-setting edge guides. Realized I did it entirely wrong. Went over my edges again with the diamond stone using your method and wow, what a difference. My edges were so rough from doing it wrong, but working them again properly smoothed everything out. Thanks for the help!!
Hands down the best edge tuning video. If you say the file takes a lot of edge material, then why you didn't only use the diamond stones during this entire process but included the second cut file following 100 grit stone? Any reason??

When you do your other edge, do you change how your file is placed in your multi tool? My file is like l \ \

Can I just hone the edge with stones after a day of skiing or should I file then use the stones?
Depending on the damage or lack thereof you can go right to honing.
