A lot of women don’t really know what it really means to love themselves. Self love is what you don’t allow. There’s a difference between self-love and self-care.
It was my mother who stressed to me about not wearing makeup and proper hygiene was an absolute necessity. So I wear very little makeup and Im told that I’m very clean bc I am. I only wish my mom had the chance to show me how to maintain my natural hair although I’m learning that now. But I will say, my husband has never seen my monthly experience NEVER. Feminine hygiene is very important to me. I’ve been married 34yrs. Thank you for the reminder Mr. Tony. I appreciate your sincerity. ☺️

Yes , I wear 4c clip in extensions , kinky straight u part wigs , wrap around ponytails and half wigs . It’s simple and people ( male and female ) always stop to compliment me . I still have a few lace frontals but when I do wear them I throw on a hat or headband .

I look white but am Black, Cape Verdean and White. I have those natural lips, the thick thighs and booty, lol. I walk around most days without makeup except for a little under eye concealer and lipstick. I do this on purpose and tell men that because if I were to marry a man or have a long distance relationship, I don’t want him to think he has a different woman besides the one he met at a meet and greet, lol. I don’t do much to look beautiful…God has blessed me with a very youthful look. I look 20 years younger than I really am. People are shocked that I’m 45 years old. I don’t do the eyelashes because I have naturally long eyelashes. I went natural about 6 or 7 years ago, and have very thick and coily hair. I just keep it in flat-twisted updos. And I work out to keep an attractive shape. I don’t have a large booty (especially since I work out) but at least I can slim down and still have a nice-looking set of breasts. The way I feel about it, a man has to love me for me. I’m not doing a lot of expensive, uncomfortable and unhealthy alterations to my body just to please a man. I have a naturally beautiful appearance and if he can’t see that, it’s his loss.

For some it might be insecurities or just because they think/know everyone is doing it. It’s not the women. It’s the men’s preferences driving women to do these things. Men say they don’t like it but still pursue women who do those things. Now I’m not one of them as I’m natural in everything, but I believe women do all these things because of what they see men go for, and men say they are visual creatures, so women try to be visually appealing so that men will pursue. It has nothing to do with other women at all. Other women just give each other beauty tips. If men would just like and pursue natural beauty more, I promise you would see less of this, but they don’t. They go after the quote on quote baddie. They say they like natural women, but never pursue them.
Part of being an adult is holding yourself accountable for the decisions you make. If women feel the need to surgically alter their entire appearance in order to get some attention from men… there’s deeper issues at play beyond the topic of what the male preference is.
A lot of men do not even realize how much work those women have gotten done. Many of them genuinely think those women are natural. Just like when they say they like women who wear no makeup, but will proceed to give an example of a woman wearing neutral colored makeup
Both men and women have to take accountability for falling into the devil’s trap. Going back and forth about who’s responsible isn’t helping. Start where YOU can make a change. For women that can be as simple as STOP LISTENING to the wrong types of men. Not all attention is equally valuable.
I already said I’m 100% natural woman. So projecting it unto me is funny. Nevertheless, I still think a lot of women do so in order to attract a man and get chosen. To act like they don’t is simply to be in denial.
In my own experience, my mom wore minimal makeup and always looked pretty to me so I do the same. I think its learned early in life as a female. I see women who take their daughters to get full acrylic nails at 12 and 13 yrs old. That is impressionable at 12 and 13 especially if its routinely done.

For some it might be insecurities or just because they think/know everyone is doing it. A real man is not going for all of this unnecessary surgery that's going to catch up with you in the worst way quick.

It’s not the women. It’s the men’s preferences driving women to do these things. Men say they don’t like it but still pursue women who do those things. Now I’m not one of them as I’m natural in everything, but I believe women do all these things because of what they see men go for, and men say they are visual creatures, so women try to be visually appealing so that men will pursue. It has nothing to do with other women at all. Other women just give each other beauty tips. If men would just like and pursue natural beauty more, I promise you would see less of this, but they don’t. They go after the quote on quote baddie. They say they like natural women, but never pursue them.

Part of being an adult is holding yourself accountable for the decisions you make. If women feel the need to surgically alter their entire appearance in order to get some attention from men… there’s deeper issues at play beyond the topic of what the male preference is.
A lot of men do not even realize how much work those women have gotten done. Many of them genuinely think those women are natural. Just like when they say they like women who wear no makeup, but will proceed to give an example of a woman wearing neutral colored makeup
Both men and women have to take accountability for falling into the devil’s trap. Going back and forth about who’s responsible isn’t helping. Start where YOU can make a change. For women that can be as simple as STOP LISTENING to the wrong types of men. Not all attention is equally valuable.
I already said I’m 100% natural woman. So projecting it unto me is funny. Nevertheless, I still think a lot of women do so in order to attract a man and get chosen. To act like they don’t is simply to be in denial.

As a woman I sometimes struggle with how I look . At the end of the day I love myself so I just continue to work on myself. Self love ❤️ is the key.

In my own experience, my mom wore minimal makeup and always looked pretty to me so I do the same. I think its learned early in life as a female. I see women who take their daughters to get full acrylic nails at 12 and 13 yrs old. That is impressionable at 12 and 13 especially if its routinely done.
