For any future trips to Aruba, no need to buy bottled water. All the tap water on the island is perfectly safe! :) Super cute video, made me miss home even more!
Agree. All water is from desalination. It is super safe. Have been to the island with my spouse for eight times. Consumed tap water, which is the same water as in the bottles. Never got sick. Eagle Beach is amazing. Booked this hotel for the first time. Great deal!
@Tulip Cafe who did you book through may I ask? I'm currently checking apple vacation and vacation express and wasn't interested to see if there's better options.
The tap water produced here is super pure. It meets the highest quality standard set by the World Health Organization. You might be used to buying bottled water when you're on holiday, but there is no need to on our island. Tap water in Aruba belongs to one of the cleanest in the world.
literally watching this video to reminisce about my aruba trip this past december! we stayed at eagle aruba and it was the best!! can't wait to go back one day, such a beautiful island 💕

Fab video!! TY! Husband and I (early 60's) are thinking of staying here in '25 ... can you pls tell me about the restaurants that are right on the resort. We like casual places, where you can just wear shorts & tees. Is there a breakfast buffet ? Is there a liquor store, easy walking distance from resort?TY !!

What time of year did you go there, we just went in late October to early November and I thought it was quite busy.
It took over three hours to get through the airport when leaving. Luved the Vlog, certainly brought us back.

Just found your vid, very helpful as we have a reservation here for September. When were you there? I’ve read it can be a challenge to get a chair at the pool or beach, but this looks empty.
If i stay on eagle beach, do I need a car if all I want to do is relax, do a day of excursions and eat? And I know aruba is windy, but would you say the currents are pretty calm?
You could totally do this trip without a car :) We didn’t find the currents to be too strong especially you stay close to the shore

Yes it is, it’s a short walk across the parking lot. You will pass it as drive up to the entrance of the resort :)

Hello, yes we did rent a small car. We booked our trip as a package through travelocity and the car came out to about $200 for the week from Budget (but there's a number of car rental companies right as you walk out of the airport that you can choose from). Hope that helps you out! :)

The most expensive item was the least needed expense. In Aruba there's no point buying bottled water as the tap water is world class. It's just a waste of plastic.

Aruba has one of the largest water desalination plants in the world, so you can drink tap water from the entire island!
It's too bad you bought water bottles. Tap water in Aruba is very drinkable
I’m looking to vacation Aruba . N look at this resort. Does this resort offer coffee breakfast n nearby restaurants available with in walking distance so my wife n I can eat . It’s very affordable ! I always vacation all inclusive. But willing to take a chance. Plz acknowledge response please. I look at all inclusive but it’s over $4000. Total. N under $2000 for 7 days I think it’s remarkable.

Was the Cabana a fee?
Unfortunately we do not have a video covering the car rental process. We booked our flight, hotel and car rental as a package through Travelocity. The car rental was just steps from the terminal.
No fee for the cabana :)

Please don’t feed the fish! It makes them aggressive. Also it’s bad for them.
Dont give bread to the fishes. That harms them. You should investigate first about a country before going there. Gringos and their sense of owning everything mehhh
