- Brendan Grace on the unique turns of phrase used by Irish mothers when dealing with their children.
Christmas is a special time for mothers and their families, remembers Brendan Grace,
She’s lovey-dovey and all that. But what about the other three hundred and sixty four days?
Not everyone may be aware that mothers also have unique vocal talents,
Every mother is a ventriloquist. She could speak to you without moving her lips.
Mothers also prepare children for all the confusing situations they might encounter in life, regularly issuing statements such as
Come over here and don’t move.
This episode of The Late Late Show was broadcast on 20 December 1991. The presenter is Gay Byrne. - เพลง
RIP Brendan. He was a triple threat. A wonderful singer, comedy genius and a thoroughly good man. The world is a sadder place to be.
I had my fun, and that's all that matters.
Proper legend this guy. Even with a half episode cameo, he stole the show.
What a great Comedian an Irish Legend R.I.P 🇮🇪 ☘
Isn't it the truth. Remember watching this when it first came out. with my Mum and Dad, tears running down our cheeks with laughter. A unique comedian one of a kind R.I.P Brendan..
Well sed good old days
Such a nice man I wrote to him as a child and he very kindly wrote back I still remember how wonderful it was to recieve that letter, sadly missed he brought a lot of laughter to many ⭐
Comedians of the calibre of Brendan Grace are sorely lacking today
so ture
None in ireland at the moment
An entertainer for all generations. Ages 8-80+ could go to a Brendan Grace Show & be highly entertained...No vulgarity just good clean fun.
@@alanmacreamoinn6691child abuse isn’t vulgar? No wonder you people thought it was ok to bomb pubs
Brendan was the first comedian I seen live as a child. I never realised until now how much Peter Kay is influenced by him, he has literally lifted most of this for his act.

Nah. The annoying bollox is all you bubba.
Always the negative comment from you. Sad.
@@max__painHe was worth a hell of a lot more than a hundred of him that's for sure
Be happier. It’s not that hard.
Is that a question or a statement ?? Either way you need to lie down in a darkened room with supervision & heavy medication, you bell end.
