So do u recommend me getting Lidstrom? I’ve got what u can call a “god squad” like free cards wouldn’t make my 6th line. However, I want to use cards that peek my interest and Lidstrom has a little bit. I’ve also felt the same about Messier’s card. Is that something I should look into trying?

Not for years
The game is played on dedicated servers now so stuff like that can't happen since you aren't actually connected to the other player (their connection won't affect yours)
