- Wood Beads

You will need (8) 48 inch strands of yarn/macrame cord for all of the 3 Keychains

This is the best tutorial I have seen for these keychains. I love the fact that she gives instructions, but does not have unnecessary chatter like a lot of other videos! Great Job!

Love your macrame keychains! What size beads do you recommend for completing the ends? 10 mm or 8mm? Thanks!!
I watched all three keychains and your tutorials were so easy to watch and understand. This is my first attempt at macrame and I have now made 5 keychains today. The chevron one is a little harder for me than the first two but I'm going to attempt it now. I subscribed and saved this one. Can't wait to watch more. Thank u!

What size macrame yarn did you use and what size beads?
What size are both beads? And will 3mm macrame cord work for these?
Is an 8/6 yarn good for this project?
I want to start macrame. Could I use yarn that you can use for knitting to make these? Such as 4 ply yarn?

I’m not the maker of the video but have done a lot of keychains. It would work just fine without the beads, it would be smaller. If you want a bulkier keychain simply take 3 or 4 mm macrame cotton cord and do the same pattern. Yarns are about 2 mm so comes out much thinner.
When putting the yarn on the keychain, loop it through and pass the loop over the keychain instead of pulling everything through.
can I ask what size that measuring board is and where you got it ... fantastic idea for cutting cords :)
Thats a quilting ruler, probably a 6”x24”
