Here’s a corrected version of the sentence: If only my professors were as cool as you, I'd ace all my exams and devour the curriculum. Glad to have you, sir!
indeed very nice teacher and person. Once i inquired about a phase diagram and guess what he not only provided me the portion which i was interested in also guided me briefly about my question. Indeed great! Hats off to you Sir!
Nice to see some reviews of AI tools! I've been playing around with both SciSpace and Elicit since those seem to be the best for summarizing/extracting info from academic papers. Currently Elicit has restrictions on the number of papers/month that can be queried whereas SciSpace is unlimited (with the paid plans). So for now SciSpace is the place. Check back next month though. Things are moving fast!
@@TaylorSparks Perplexity (with Focus = "academic" and "Pro" engaged) is good for finding lit. Also I like Litmaps (if you're willing to pay) or Research Rabbit (if you want to stay free). imo these are the best ones right now. It takes a while to screen them all though, so happy to hear what other's are using!
I am a PhD student and I have subscribed to chatgpt plus but only after that, I discovered SciSpace. I feel like in terms of features and UI, Scispace is better than chatgpt (purely academic I mean). What do you recommend? Thinking of switching to paid version of SciSpace
@@SurachaiAirak My recommendation to everybody is to try both. I still pay for my ChatGPT for a lot of tasks, but I increasingly see the value in scispace as well as perplexity
@Taylor your contributions to knowledge dissemination will always be remembered. Thank you for all this free content you put out here and most importantly how you simplify complex ideas such that an average student can gain relevant insights. As someone from an Aerospace engineering background, I've always been skeptical about furthering my post grad in materials engineering and here you are motivating me. Remain blessed.

@@sirius_scorpion I haven't tried Elicit yet. Another one I like a lot is Perplexity.
Are there other AI tools I should take a look at?

@@Swormy097 this means a lot. Thank you so much. I'm trying my hardest to open the doors of materials education to the world
