Machine details:
Justins machine is a 2019 Can-am X3 XRS. It is 72" wide and 172 horsepower. Suspension is setup to the fox tune with some additional ride height added. It is running 32x14x10 sticky Maxxis Roxxzilla tires on 14x7 Alba Crusher Beadlock Wheels with a 5+2 Offset. It has a Evo Powersports Shocker cat delete exhaust, Gear grabber shifter, Front limit straps from sandcraft. Warn Axon 55s with super atv front winch bumper. Super atv high clearance trailing arms, L&W Fab rear High clearance billet radius rods, CT Raceworx front end gusset kit, tie rods w bump steer delete and high clearance lower A arms. It has SuperATV Trailing arms, still running stock axles with the factory smart lok front diff, also running a Razor Sharp Customs Cage.
Billys machine is a 2020 Polaris RZR Turbo S Dynamix. It has a Trinity racing exhaust and tune, L&W Seat Lowering Bases, BS Sand Seats, Gear Grabber Gated Shifter, Trail Armor Full Skid Plates, Full Orb Suspension with 2" stretch, 32" Maxxis Roxxzilla tires mounted on KMC 15x6 wheels with a 5+1 offset, and Super ATV X300 300M Axles all the way around, KB3 Driveshaft, 33% Gear reduction in low, Skinny Pedal Fab Bed Delete with Razor Sharp Customs Cage
Joshs rig is a 2021 Polaris RZR Turbo S Velocity. It has L&W Fab Seat lowering bases, stock seats customized for a lower seating postion, gutted stock exhaust, skid plates, 32" Coyote tires on aftermarket beadlock wheels, Trinity Blow Off Valve, Full doors and i think thats it for now!

I have a talon and the i4wd works great trail ridding anything other than that it needs a locker
Torque Locker has a talon offering. “Inexpensive” solution. Great people over there.

Awesome video. Watching the talon reminds me of the YXZ days. Overall wheeling a less capable machine probably makes for better drivers anyway. Looking forward to the AOP content!

My I4wd was doing the same thing so I put the locker in it and it’s a lot better now
Sxsblog did a plug in add on for the i-4wd so it would act as a true locker..

Great video. Keep doing what you’re doing. Someday we will see a built Talon and what it can or can’t do compared to your machines. Keep testing it and building it. Probably a cage should be next before someone gets hurt.

Get in touch with ORB and get their bash plate that welds in under the transmission. Wont have to worry about transmission getting hit again

How does it feel to be that guy in the group Justin? Great video like usual! I can verify the torqlocker is worth the cash, at least in an X3! After ditching the viscojunk for the torqlocker it became quite the animal! Steering effort did go up, but totally worth it, I just run 2wd more than I use to.
There is definitely a problem with the front diff, my 19 talon never stops spinning like I seen in these videos. I have several videos of mine spinning all 4 tires in really bad positions. You definitely have something wrong with the I4wd.

I could not wait to get rid of my Rockzillas!!!! Those tires drove me insane. Outside of rocks I was all ways getting stuck. I could not get rid of them fast enough. Great in MOAB. My next rock tire will be the Nitto Trail Grappler. As for a trail tire I love my System3 300s. Besides from being a directional tire they were awesome. Im thinking of trying the ITP Terra Hooks for my next trail tire. I wish they made them in 33” tires though.

great video. I just ordered a hess motorsports steering box for my talon. its suspose to have a better turning radius.
Can you guys (with the key off) short the brown/red and green wire in the diagnostic connector under the driver's seat, then turn the key on, the i4wd indicator will blink sequences of long and short flashes. Can you tell me how many of each it blinks? I'll look it up in the factory book and maybe get you some insight into why it thinks there is a problem. -- wizardofgunmonkeys (I have a website with the procedure and code chart there too if you Google my handle)

If your I4wd light is on I bet the I4wd is not activating. You're just running 4wd. The talon does have a limited slip do its not an open diff. But a lot of people commenting are saying they never spin just one front wheel. I'm most cases you won't know it's not locked but I4wd uses the brakes. That's just the facts about how it works. Things that affect brake performance are going to affect I4wd. Just another fact. I'm sure you guys in your jeep days had lockers in the front of your jeep plus the halo locker in the can am so you know the draw back to a front locker that you can't turn off. Talons are tough though and I love that I can grab gears if I want to. Even in automatic if you hit the paddle is in manual for a minute.
You need tires that will get better traction on the terrain you're on

@@krisstamper8488 Correct, the Honda is made in SC, but 99% of RZRs and Can-Ams SXS come from Mexico.
Your I-4Wheel drive might need some maintenance. My I-4Wheel drive works great on my 2019 Talon 1000R.

Good try, Almost.. made that climb. It looks like you cracked the Rock, on the way up, laid the front wheels on the lip of the top and then you broke the Rock up good, when your skid plate caught the Rock, on the way down.. Good try though..

Put some real tires on that Talon and 90% of your stoppages would go away. My ‘19X goes everywhere l ask it to at Windrock. 32” Carnivores and tender springs. That’s it.
