Courtney, This is an extremely well done video on the Bing 54 Carb. You waste no time and have explained the problem areas perfectly. Thank you. I subscribed.
Thank you Courtney. My Bing was flooding, dripping, leaking. Bought the $50 kit... Didn't fix it, still flooding, dripping, leaking. Thought about buying new float, maybe new carb...watched this video, straightened the float bracket, adjusted float level PROBLEM SOLVED!!! THANK YOU
This is great video, where were you 10 years ago when I fixed my MXL r503dc and had to learn all these things by myself....instead of watching your youtube channel....😉👍 I don't fly my MXL anymore but your videos makes me miss it so much. Go on you'r doing great. 🏆🏆🏆
This is great video. The float weighing is something. I fly a Fresh Breeze Monster (Hirth F33) with a Bing 84...basically the same carb. My float were way off...one way heavier then the other. What is the difference between the new and old float...do you need to go the new float? Also, make sure the float level of the carb is correct...that can make a big difference too. Thanks for the video.

I think the really old floats were actually made of metal are the new ones are sealed plastic
Thanks!
At 2:01 your needle clip is clearly ABOVE the cup. It needs to be BELOW the spring cup.
It does need to be below the cup. it's a video edit mismatch.
