Roy Orbison and his family lived in The Colony after his move from Hendersonville Tenn. this was in the middle 80's
Just out of idle curiosity how far down do these support structures go into the sand and do they get king tides ?
The supports foundation must go to solid rock otherwise in my opinion the house would wash away
How did you know when low tide is? I tried visiting and the sea almost took me lolAt high tide, all the sand is gone =(

Actually Malibu does not have private beaches. Because they are millionaires, they think they own the ocean and sand, but they don't. They also make it hard to access any of the beaches. But there are ways.
