Got a late 2015 6c GTI manual 3 door myself and found that it had a map on it already with 225bhp and 279lb ft and it amazing....(dyno'd in 32°c heat) Puts in a league well above itself and for the money a brilliant 'little' car....lovely video..👍
The polo gti 6r which is the 1.4 twincharged is still a tsi along with the 1.8 turbo
I have the 16 model with manual transmission, might be small but it's such a FUN little car

Beautiful car mate, I have the same but with manual box. 320nm as standard, but have had a stage 1 remap dv+ with the same raceing line filter. Now 256bhp & 410nm of torque👍

@@tebogothembo4420 The gearbox can easily handle it providing you have a manual. Mine is still fine after 3yrs

I have a 1.2 polo with a remap, induction kit and back box delete and and it is a nippy city Machine
I have the 2017 1.8 gti tsi bluemotion 192hp , 4 door ,pearl deep black, im lookin to map it , ive lowered it on eibach springs & the stance looks good but not too low .
Its rapid as standard but i feel it wants more torque , i got it from brand new & im the only owner of it , great car😁

You can hear the dsg farts so good, ik have an original but the farts are not so loud.
What can i do for betters dsg farts?
Exhaust system. Decat and downpipe

You could change the rear muffler for a sports back box that will improve sound

I need a 6c man I currently have a healthy 6r but I want rid so I can remap it with confidence
why? im thinking of getting a 6r?
@@6official oil consumption issues and dry clutch dsg can't handle the amounts of power I desire, If your getting one try get one made in late 2012 and onwards with the revised engine
Mate I came from a 6r to a 6C. I was stage one in the 6r and never had a problem. Do prefer the look of my 6C though and it pulls harder top end. But don’t knock your 6r lovely car 👊🏼
@@mikeycoyne8336 the 6c also has a dry clutch. Issues with mapping this model too

What power can the dsg box take? I know the manual with sach clutch will handle a is38 with 360-80 bhp, unsure what torque tho.
It’s torque on this dsg box that kills it. I think 250nm is the max and even then, they give up when stock at 180nm. I’ve got one and want to map it but I darent do it because the gearbox is made of chocolate
I’ve got a stage one DSG 6c GTI has it about 8months now everything stock but the induction kit. People scaremongering . It’s been absolutely sweet 🏆😎

@@truedawglbg2074 haven’t got my polo anymore😭 but only upgrades was the air intake and gearbox map no hardware. Took it on track as well at brands hatch no problems
