Mid to late game I like to put a wall to the side of the fighting position rigged to a pressure plate and a garage door to step on when getting hectic. When the door opens all my extra turrets open up from the other side and rinse the puppies and kittens. Love your work Tem!

The one shot ore bonus for mining series of books was dropped back in A21. Now it nets you 20% more ore, so it's basically a free point into Miner69'er. Put a cigar and a strength mod into the miner helmet allows you to get 3/5 in both mining skills, add coffee to this and mining for a non strength build is very nice now.
I think one of the stealth trade offs is you don't trigger some of the ceiling and other hidden zombies. I failed a quest in one of the hotels cause I could not find the last couple zombies and wasn't yet getting the yellow indicator. Ran out of time and had to leave for hoard night. Was even running around shooting my M60.
They need to make it where there is a button at end of poi that triggers all remaining zombies into spawning and basically give them blood moon feral seeking ability. So if you can't find em, hit button, they find you.
After a full stealth run, I'd want to do the complete opposite - the loudest style possible. Nothing but shotguns, explosives, full auto. No silencers or bows allowed (except explosive arrows.) AKA the Leroy Jenkins run. I'm picturing someone who has cracked a bit under the strain. "YEAH! COME ON! GET SOME! HAHAHAAHAHA!!!"
I charge into POIs with all my guns blazing. M60, auto shotgun, smg, sniper rifle, desert vulture. I toss a few grenades just for fun as well. Working on a rocket launcher =D
Tem, you ever thought about bringing some rocks to the POI. Maybe throw a rock in a room to wake up any hiders in the ceilings and just hide around the corner and pick them off. Just an idea, dont know if it would work. As always, another amazing episode. Can't believe how much the channel has grown since I first found you.
Rather than facing your turrets outward, you should face them inward to cover the air space directly over the base. You can face extras outward in the 4 cardinal directions directly over the fighting position. I would add 1 turret guarding the underside of your base. I keep having issues where vultures are spawning under my base. Isn't there also an Auto M60 Turret Mod for 7 days. You can use that as your 7.62 dump xD.
The issue you had with not being able to lose the screamers, and the others they called in, in close encounters appears to be due to you not having the full set bonus since you forgot to switch you headgear back.
the DV is uber powerful. Especially when you max out the Penetrator perk. It is my go-to for sneaking through POIs. It also works wonders during horde night because they group up so much.
i think it'd be really neat if we had a smaller blade trap that could support weapon mods like the sledge since having rad removers on blade traps sounds super fun!
Gotta say, I didn't know the Desert Vulture's behavior in Stealth had changed like this. In the past, even suppressed, the damn thing would wake up foes in adjacent rooms. I wonder if some of the new perks and the Assassin Armor is playing into this effect. Now there's actually a very good reason to use the Desert Vulture over a regular Pistol if it can be roughly as quiet in practice.
37:00 - you just reminded me, we need that mod that modifies horde-night waves where you can get in the 2nd/3rd wave all rads or armored zombies, or in one wave you can only get an absurd amount of zombie vultures, then all those turrets on the roof will have some work to do :D
Devs going on about how they wanted to drag out progression yet after just 39 in-game days/ 16 episodes already maxed out most used gear. They really should have added way more content especially crafting trees and craft stations. Modders making overhaul mods manage it. Also T6 gear is far to easy it should be far more costly in time and materials, if it's meant to be end game gear. It's a shame. I hope 1.0 is not the end of the devs adding content/updates. I definitely need to try out a stealth build, my strategy is already to sneak around and pray nothing sees me. That armor would make me much more successful at it
While a turret that uses the 7.62 would be nice, I personally think a better option would be raising the stack-size from 150 rounds per stack to 1500. That way, you would have a full stack of 7.62 rounds (or any ammo type for that matter) that is the size of what is currently ten inventory/storage slots worth of ammo. Another possible option would be implementing a turret-only mod that alters what ammo type is used, say for instance an "Extended Rifling" mod changing from 9mm to the 7.62, or a "Reinforced Firing Chamber" mod that could turn it into an auto-shotgun turret.
WARNING: to players of 7dtd if You are using one of the pre-made maps and haven't been on the last day or so, the hate pimps put out a new update that deleted all the old pre-made worlds to replace them with new renamed worlds so Your saves will no longer exist.
perimeter turrets my man, u got so many. that way u dont have to worry about them hitting demos if they are far away. totally agree they need a 7.62 and even a magnum turret i do think those roof balconies are bird trap nightmares and talking about blade traps, they need to make like a level 2 blade trap!
Always check stats of crafted weapons, tools, because "stats roll" might not be in your favor. For example, I was carrying level 4 crossbow with 112 damage and my crafted level 6 crossbow is 103 damage. 9 damage difference is massive.
that's because you had your bolt in the old xbow i bet. The game compares with the added bolt dmg. but i get what you mean. Stats can differ even from T6 to T6 tools / weapons
@Ab.strac.t I know what you mean, but I have knowledge of that, so I check it always. It was steel bolts on both or even no bolts because I took mods out from both crossbows to check it if it's real. As far as I remember from previous alphas, crafted items have same set stats for the playthrough, but looted items get stat roll. Though crafted item stats differ from playthroughs.
I was breaking a car down in the forest biome and had 5 wolves roll up on me out of nowhere. That was fun. Horde night 49 dire wolves were dropping red loot bags

I still remember the base you built at that Drive-In I forgot what series it was but that bass was pretty dope and like and as soon as I'm able to play 7 Days to die on console I was thinking about making my base there too. Not going to do the same base you did but some kind of base their I think it would be good since it's got like a secure perimeter surrounding it

I did a playthrough recently with this build and It's so insanely easy. Then afterwards I tried doing a wasteland only fortitude build and got my ass kicked HARD.
I know this is probably really dumb but I really wish the level 6 weapons the supposed legendary weapons looked different like I mean when you're playing by yourself I guess it doesn't matter but if you're playing with friends you know the gun should look like a legendary weapon it should look unique it should look special it just looks like a level one. That's one thing I wish they would change. Also I wish we did like a restore power or you go to a p o i and you find a working generator. I wish you could use that generator as a way to power your base. That way you don't have to use the terrible generator you can craft.
OMG my level 3 nerd gear is so bad with the stamina and movement penalties and I can't seem to find any fittings to put in them. If I become encumbered at all I can barely move. My usual MO is to run padded armor until I can get maxed military armor with fittings and silenced connectors, so as you can imagine this is really killing me. Intellect could really use a heavy armor skill if it's main armor option is gonna be heavy.
If you need more storage during missions can you put everything in the bike storage and then put it into the gyrocopter? :D Also you should probably use 4 pole with catwalk instead of ladders. You still have to level up demolition and electrician. Drones would be fun too
Also, do you have the urban combat that lets you sneak over trash silently? Might be neat to find out so you don't need to slow down to get rid of the trash.
I think the issue of zombies triggering when your stealthing is kind of a balancing act. Gotta have something that slows you down while in Assassin gear, otherwise it's just to easy.
Maybe TFP should give Legendary parts when you accept T6 quests from traders, regardless of the loot stage and we all know it's guaranteed in T6 completion rewards. This way, if you don't find Legendary items in the T6 loot chest, you're guaranteed to receive them upon completing the quest. Legendary equipment should be harder to obtain-after all, it's legendary, right? They mentioned it would take longer for players to max out, but that mostly applies to new players in 7DTD. Experienced players still find it relatively easy to max out specific perks or skills.
Your armor almost looks white in a few shots. I wish there was a white dye for things, and grey dyes too. Why isn't there? They have black. Grey would be amazing for those stormy days, and in the ashen areas and maybe nuke too. White is obv handy in snow, but maybe desert? And I think once I had white, wouldn't matter what area I was in, I think I would want white lol.
you weren't wearing the stealth armor head piece when u had to dealing with the screamer, so u didnt have the bonus (you should learn that if u see no bonus there is no bonus)
If I’m not mistaken 208 is the start of the final stage, so above that the candy would still technically help increase the odds of getting the better items but it would not change what items can drop. That is if I understand the loot system correctly, but I probably don’t so maybe someone will correct me
Hey Tem (or anyone who knows) how's flying the gyro in 1.0? Did the Pimps make any changes to how it handles? It looked like Tem's flying was a lot smoother than we're used to seeing, LOL.

With this stealth build you can just stand up and sprint to wake them, then crouch and they forget where you are instantly.

Pro tip keep the nerd outfit on you when looting for the magazine bonuses so you don’t have to store them and can immediately read them

You should put some food and water in the gyro for when you need it
Rotate the ladders 90 degrees so that no one slides up or down
lol auto turret bundle and shotgun turret bundle give you wayyy more ammo than AMMO bundle itself :D

Hey Tem (or anyone who knows) how's flying the gyro in 1.0? Did the Pimps make any changes to how it handles? It looked like Tem's flying was a lot smoother than we're used to seeing, LOL.
I was testing the assassing set and even with turrets it rocks in infestations tier 6 I go with sniper
if you could sometime could you test how sneaky a sniper rifle is with a silencer
The auger is not better than the steel pickaxe. It's generates more heat over time and can't 1 shot oil shale/coal ores.

I just started a play through with stealth specs. I want to try to be invisible too.
I miss the old night vision lol the new one is too clean lol
Sneak is too OP. Also can garage doors be turned on their side to have the look of dual rolling doors opening to the left and right?
Literally suffering from success - being so sneaky he has to make noise cause he has problems finding zombies
I'm curious to see if the fix to sneak attacks in the new patch has any effect on this build.
