The snails have but not peanut :) It's important to keep the tube fully submerged so if something goes in they can at least come out from the other end
Put an amazon affiliate link to the shrimp feeder in your video description. Viewers who want one can find/buy it easily and you get a small commission. Win-win!
Good suggestion! I actually did in my early videos but no one buy from the link and Amazon decided to reject / close my application. I will re-apply once I got more sub / viewers 😊
@@BlueReefTank Thank you for the reply. I am feeding baby brine and copepods. I find the female I have is quite skittish and gets stressed/hides as soon as I come close to the tank. Its only been one week, hope this behaviour diminishes soon to start to try frozen on her.
@@alfredorios4416 Mine is still a bit shy to this day 😊 Just give her some time and she'll be fine. As long as she's eating well. My mandarin now waits in front of the feeding tube whenever I turn off the pump because she knows big juicy brine is going to come down from that tube 🤣
Hi Kathy, it's actually not that hard as long as your tank is cycled and your water parameter is good. I would start with soft corals like leather coral or zoanthids as they're much hardier than say LPS or SPS 😊
If you're referring to the feeding station, it's called "glass feeding tube". It's actually designed for freshwater shrimp but I used it for my mandarin 😅
Knowing how big those snails actually are, that fish is TINY
Yeah! She was only 1.5cm(less than an inch) when I first got her
Nice, i wonder if you had started with live baby brine he would have jumped in quicker. Nice tank, cute fish
Thanks for the tip Taylor! I will definitely try feeding baby brine shrimp to Peanut tomorrow 😊 and thanks again for watching!
Thanks for sharing! I wanna do and try this way feeding my Man(darin), too 😍💙
Good luck and I hope your mandarin will eat from there 🤩
Love your channel and all the Dragonet content.
Cute little peanut!!
BAD NEMO!
So relaxing 😌
What tank is this? I love it!
Its Innovative Marine Nuvo 16!
Your tank is beautiful! Clever deal with that feeding station
Thank you! 😊 It's been working out really well so far. Peanut would wait in front of the dish and as soon as she sees the food, she goes straight in!
Has peanut or any of the snails ever gone up the tube tube to Intercept the food as it floats downward ?
The snails have but not peanut :) It's important to keep the tube fully submerged so if something goes in they can at least come out from the other end
what tank is that? what are the dimensions and total volume?
Is it possible to bait the snails to another location just before feeding the mandarin.
Great video
Thanks Keante! :)

Good background music
Thank you! 😊
I also just bought a small Mandarin and would like to know how much has it grown from its original size and in how long. Thanks!
Good choice! Mine has grown a lot! I got mine last December 2020 and she's probably doubled the size now 😁 She eats like a pig

Ha! His name is Peanut because he's so small! hahahahahahahahaha!
Got my mandarin today 😁🤘
👍🏼Good 💫
Thanks Hazheer!
Tank size and how many gallons ?🙏🏻
It helps me a lot for setting my future reef tank 🥲☺️
This one is a 16 gallon tank :) It's around 60cm x 45cm x 40cm if I am not mistaken
@@BlueReefTank thank you :)
Que corais são esses?
🙏🙏
Tank size ?
Hi, can you tell me how do you run the filters system in you nuvo 16 tank?
Hi - I only run filter sponges, bio balls, and carbon in my Nuvo 16 :) Hope that helps
sorry if i missed it but what tank is this please ?
It's Innovative Marine Nuvo 16 😊 I don't think IM still make this product
@@BlueReefTank Thanks! I just had a look, they still make similar ones but a bit too pricey for me :(
Yeah - maybe you can try the Waterbox?
@@BlueReefTank no way waterbox's are even more expensive lol. I'm going to just buy a crappy fluval evo sea tank :'(
Is it hard to kept a coral?Whats the first coral do i put in my tank?

@@BlueReefTank thanks 😀
No problem 😊
Hey mate, what brand tank or is it custom?
This is from Innovative Marine but they've discontinued this tank a long time ago :)
keren
Thank you! :D
What kind of blenny is that
That's just a normal lawnmower blenny I think 😅 although the colouring is a bit unusual
Dang Nassarius snails, why I don't get them.
They are actually a really good CUC 😅 Too good in fact
I like those and the tiger conch
Hi, anyone know what the zoas/palys at 1:24 are called? I have them but I've never been able to find their common name. 🙃
It's called the Gorilla Nipples Zoanthids 🙂
How did u get it to feed on frozen foods?
She's a captive-bred mandarin so she's already trained to eat frozen 🙂
What is that you used to feed him?
If you're referring to the feeding station, it's called "glass feeding tube". It's actually designed for freshwater shrimp but I used it for my mandarin 😅
How many gallons is this tank?
25 gallon 😊
