    Comment below which of your favorite chocolates you'd want to turn rainbow and holographic! 🍫

      @@estefaniasanmartin5193 Technically you could reuse the holographic plastic sheets. The chocolate doesn't damage them, but the fats in the chocolate might make them hard to clean. If you want to reuse them I would just run them under hot hot water to melt all the chocolate off and then dry them with a clean cloth!

    Have you tried letting the chocolates cool slower? The diffraction sheets seem to warp a lot after going into the freezer, which suggests the rates of thermal expansion are significantly different. I think cooling it too fast, means that the chocolate grooves solidify in the film and then break away from the molten chocolate underneath, when the stresses build. Ideally the film would peel away clean from the chocolate and be reusable.

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good points. Yeah I want to test this again letting the chocolate set up outside the fridge first then only cool it to peel it off. I don't think chocolate is getting left behind on the diffraction sheets though, I think it is pulling up before it gets molded or never getting fully into the grooves to start. Not sure though, I need to experiment more! Thanks for the comment, I will have to try letting it cool slower!

    • @snittyz
      @snittyz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BrittneeKay you could try placing weight ontop of the chocolate, forcing pressure onto the diffraction sheets. Maybe a book or something? Weight + slower cooling time might be the key. I am going to try this myself eventually, thanks for the video

    Hi Brittnee, I was wondering if you could tell me how to transport the holographic chocolate. The last time I made them I wrapped them in wax paper, and by time I gave them to my co-workers the holographic design was barely noticed. What would be the best way to transport them to preserve the hologrphic design? Thanks for all the videos

    • @BrittneeKay
      @BrittneeKay  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The holographic design shouldn’t go anywhere unless the chocolates melt or something! Keep them cool and they will be fine! The color is created by the tiny texture left on the chocolate. Depending on the lighting sometimes it’s hard to see but if you shine a flashlight on them they should show rainbow!
