- We are back for episode 9 of season five and this week's episode finds us in conversation with an iconic Belfast band, the Whiterock Flute Band.
We talk with Thomas McAllister, a member with over 20 years service to the band about how he got involved, and what keeps him involved. We also talk about how the band have kept their traditional style and what that means to the band, and we also delve into some of the characters from the band.
Thomas talks passionately about the impact the band has had on him and his family and what his hopes for the future are.
Another great story giving some insight into what makes band members tick.

There's no better bonding in a band than doing a Scottish trip, Bus, Boat & Staying in folks houses etc, As we said in our band, it was better than a week in Spain...
