Had never heard of Raye as I'm 51 and not on social media... luckily a friend invited me to see her here in Berlin four nights ago... wow. So glad I went. What a talent and what a wonderful performer. Hope she gets the fame and recognition she deserves. She also reminds me of Amy Winehouse, but she has her own style and energy. Will definitely go and see her again in November... and will take my 17 and 19 year-old sons who rolled their eyes and were like "You've never heard her songs? Of COURSE we've heard her..." 🤪
This is my 1st time seeing her perform. I had a feeling she’d sound good live, but WOW…I wasn’t expecting her to sound THAT good! She sang the house down. Official new fan right here 🤟🏽

The tail end of that performance where she just belts it out effortlessly just shows how many leagues ahead of her contemporaries she is. That sort of ability only comes around every so often and that's no disrespect to any of her contemporaries, she's just got that something special and she will remain relevant for decades like all the great singer / songwriters 💯🔥🔥

Saw for first time RAYE on Norton and was captivated. Just seen her live at O2 Ritz Manchester with her extraordinary show. One of the best live concerts we've seen (and that includes Amy - who was also extraordinary). Such a genuine songstress, silky voice, her honesty, vulnerability, resilience and power are breathtaking. I hope that she takes her time over and produces a fantastic second album; go girl!!

I'm sure she must make 'mistakes', but she's so quick and confident that all we hear as an audience is another amazing new riff! That's talent, and a lot of work.
