Love the vids love seeing your passion, you're hard work is paying off. I have a request for you. Being from the USA I'm trying to understand the "black" series cars MB made. I take it they are rare? And why not make more if they are that good...maybe a short vid to understand how important and rare these cars are. Thanks again for your vids. From Boston USA

Such an amazing journey so far! And I have to say, that sound clip of the SLS between the stands and pit wall is the best I've ever heard of that car by far. Really makes you hear what it probably sounds like in person and wow!
Awesome, Tim. Just awesome! My favourite segment was hearing the savage downshifts of the SLS BS. Every time you get a new car, I re-evaluate in my mind, which is the finest Shmeemobile in the fleet. I sometimes try to convince myself that maybe the new addition could take the crown.....but then you drive the SLS BS in anger and I'm reminded that she most definitely wears the boss clothes in the garage. It's a close-run thing with the Ford GT but the SLS BS has the edge.

SL65 Black series is an unreal car. The AMG V12, the legendary SL name, the legendary Black series badge and bodywork, and the 670 HP from 2009. All these things makes it so special！ I think it definitely belongs to the Shmuseum！
I wish to wisit someday Reims-Geaux. So clad that it's been saved from demolition and will be restored into the old glory. 12:40 that fly-by is just insane.
If possible, when I go to France, I stop at the Reims-Gueux circuit, the inside area is also being renovated by volunteers. And if you have time, visit the car museum in Reims itself.
Your reciting of specs and production numbers makes me think you have an engineer's mind and/or a background in technical or computer programming. If you don't mind, what did you do before TH-cam, Tim? Your love and knowledge of all vehicles is impressive and it's nice to see good things happening to good people. Cheers and happy motoring!

This is going to be one heck of a epic road trip. Had a idea for when you get back start the Cleo build. Turn it in to the team Shmee150 racecar and then have a track day with the team. A free for all fastest driver wins and everyone must compete. Since Tim has done races and has driven almost everything under the sun. He will need a handicap to help even the playing field because otherwise I don't think it would be fair. Winner gets paid day off in the car they choose.

The AMG black is new but no way near as Raw and beautiful as the SLS Black. Both C-63 Black and SLS Black sound astonishing. Shmee's SLS Black is probably one of the best sounding AMG's in the world.
