I really enjoy playing the pokemon tcg nothing is better then a good pokemon card pack opening if the pokemon cards are worth money its even better. getting into a pokemon card battle is also fun. Of course playing the pokemon tcg is my forte! like how to build a pokemon deck and playing the pokemon tcg online is how I spend most of my evenings. Pokemon tcg tournament are also great and if you even need any help on how to play the pokemon tcg then let me know! Dont forget you can also open pokemon tcg pack online too! Ive never got to open packs with leonhart or randolph but hopefully will soon! Not pokemon vgc pokemon vgc online or pokemon tcg world championships. Building pokemon decks is very fun! watching other deck profiles and deck lists is very helpful
I had no idea people actually spent so much money trying to make big bucks on those event only cards, honestly, I don't feel bad for them because lately, as a PTCG player, I've recently seen how scalpers just ruin the game for the rest of us so can't say I really feel bad, let's be honest some cards are going out of hand!(I.e. Charizard EX)

Ive heard the term “scalpers” everywhere but I don’t really know what it means, can someone please explain it for me?
@@Emgrldfkrsnpeople who buy out a product and then sell everything they bought for a much higher price. They get people to pay for the higher price because all of the normal priced sellers have sold out because the scalpers bought out as much as they could find.
Ussually itll happen with tickets for sporting events or concerts since there are alimitted number of those tickets circulating. But sometimes it'll happen in tcgs when certain cards get bought out on the secondary market and then relisted at much higher prices.
It honestly, REALLY, leaves such a warm feeling in my heart seeing scumbags get absolutely financially destroyed when they try to do such things, because then it’ll most likely permanently remove them from trying again
@@EmgrldfkrsnScalpers are people who will buy a popular, but hard to find item. Then they resell it for more than it's worth.

God I remember the Gengar Prime hype. That was hilarious, because we were testing it and came to the very quick realization that the MD-on meta eats its lunch. Monozone, Charizard, and of course Luxchomp were just unstoppable and the meta was too narrow for something like gar.

I am also a huge Zoroark fan! I can’t wait to use Zoroark once Maushold ex comes out, combining it with Sky Field to stack up a lot of damage. There, you’d also have access to tools like Ditto Prism and Winona.

I swear if you invest trying to make money it will never work, Arceus does not allow it. I bought both PSA 10 Rayquaza Poncho Pikachus at the end of lockdown because I thought they looked super cute and they've gone up 4x. It's actually ridiculous how it happens, you've just got to buy what you like and if it ends up making some money then great but if not then you still have cards that you like!

I was on the Xerneas EX hype train back then. It was the first deck I ever built! Even planning on rebuilding it. It’s still number 1 in my heart lol.

interesting to me that the power levels of Xerneas & Yveltal in tcg were basically opposite to what they were in vgc during x&y, power herb Geomancy Xerneas was the most absurd shit on the planet (until gen 8 and the advent of Zacian) and Yveltal saw pretty limited play until it was used to check some of the absurd powercreep monsters in SwSh

I played primal Kyogre with keldeo EX, keldeo could always use more energies and take the active spot with his ability, I also ran deluge Blastoise to attack with Kyogre faster
Sounds fun! But probably better off just playing Keldeo blastoise or black kyurem right? 👀
@@BurtsPTCG I didn't like running electric energy on that deck, and I really needed a tankier pokemon since my keldeos were starting to get 1 shot
The Kyogre was also a good option to pull up when my Blastoise got lysandre'd since if Kyogre already had 2 energy on him his primal ability would let me fill his energy cost instantly

I clicked on the vid because the thumbnail suggested this was going to be a video about finances. I'm 10 minutes in and there has yet to be a single mention past the Gardevoir about how much any of these cards were worth during their speculation period

Yeah, felt like the title/thumbnail clearly implied there'd be some quantifying of how much value the cards lost as players began to realize they weren't playable.

pokemon is the worst of the three mainstream tcgs to speculate on since the ceiling is not only lower than the other two, but also the fact that the ceiling (cute girl character full arts for hundreds of dollars) and even the level *right* under it (non cute girl full arts for a few dozen at most) are sooooooo sooooooo far apart in value.
there is a MASSIVE *MASSIVE* yawning chasim between a full art Iono and Special Illustration Full Art Gardevoir EX ( i should know. i got full sets of both. because i lack self control. and garde is one of my all time faves. dont ask why. you know why)
and of course youre not gonna pull any full arts let alone an IONO tier full art unless you spend far more in booster boxes than 5 full art Ionos are valued or get lotto levels of lucky.
all this is to say that the pokemon company is doing an excellent job of keeping pokemon dirt cheap af. I built my garde ex deck up from absolutely nothing and completely blinged out for a few hundred. i could have gotten the same cards unblinged for about 40 bucks. and garde ex is probably the best and most consistent standard deck rn. try that with yugioh or mtg lmfao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. the fact that you CANT make easy and quick money off of it is good.
