I found 20ft of floppy corrugated pool vacuum hose at the side of the road a few years ago. That's what I use for handheld tool dust collection now. Works like a charm 😁
@ I just got mine together waiting on the outlet. Same thing with the bucket. I have the hose connected to the miter saw and table saw then to the bucket
It has an auto start delay. The carpenter that works with us uses that, sometimes 😂😂😂. I wanted one. But I’m the electrician. No need, just another toy
I have used one of these for several years. Very handy. There is now one that can be plugged into two different circuits for higher amp tools. I haven’t upgraded to it since I am getting older and slowing down working on projects. But if the one I have quits working I would consider the upgrade.
First time I have seen your shop. Glad there was no fire when you had the explosion. That is my way of saying it looks a little cluttered. How often yo you spend more time looking for something than you do using it?
Why lacquer the backs? Because of humidity? 🤔 Mann you got too lucky on the hose setup 😆 PS- sorry about the plug not getting fixed but I enjoyed seeing the project 👍
Your better off trying to run a trace wire from component to component than trying to solder fix the circuit board. You should look into 3d printers, they come in nice for making hose adapters, along with everything else you can do with one.
If the cost of a replacement remote is high, send me the broken one and I can repair it. Should be fairly easy and I have the equipment and parts to do so. -Dan

your junk is my Gold, REUSE, old lumber too can always be reused. cut off the bad ends, repurpose it.
They make an outlet to plug the vac into and you plug the tool into and when the tool turns on it sends power to the vac. No remote needed
That would be good for a plug in miter saw. I might look into that.

It works perfectly!

The theory is to prevent warping. 👍
@@TheHandyman1 makes sense, especially in a basement
This the guy that charged that couple 300 bucks to install two fire alarms haha.

Someone has already made and is 3d printing and selling the adapter you need on Etsy I would be willing to bet.
Dexter would not approve of your kill room!
10'x20' "spray Booth" aka meth Lab 😂
That sprayer has gotten pricey....$400
I just looked at my amazon and in 2019 I paid $235 for it.
