Thanks - I didn’t get round all the games through the day as I was busy with the SE Asia game (18:35 ) a lot of talking was done . Good to get a view of what I missed
Nice video! Our game, Caseshot Publishing at about 24 mins, was 'The Guards Attack! The battle of Lincelles, 18 August 1793', a 15mm Black Powder participation game. All the best, Garry
Mate, you have an extraordinarily gifted way to explain all that is good about Partizan. Too many other You Tube reviewers talk too much. I live in Australia and you have inspired me to organise a holiday to the UK in a future May. Thanks so much for your coverage; you are an extraordinary You Tuber and I wish you all the success possible.
Just to finish out my previous, you have a fantastic eye for the camera. I have a cousin who made films in Los Angeles. You just have a knack for using a camera in a way that so many could earn from. Well done.
What an excellent exhibit of British craft and ingenuity. The CoC Oosterbeek table looked awesome. The Zombie table close to the end was outstanding. Amazing variety of periods and game systems. Thank you for sharing.
Top coverage, mate - hope you got chance to have a bit of time poking about the stalls and sitting down to a game yourself! That was Hostage Rescue Cluedo at 21:05 (Sheffield Wargames Club I think?!); the game at 21:33 was Doncaster Wargames Society's Emu War - which I have to say was the silliest and most - just daft fun - I think I've had in a participation game for ages!
Really nice coverage. Thank you for putting it together. Some good moments all around and a fine array of types. Really liked the upgraded Undaunted Normandy and the Peter Dennis Strength & Honour to break the chain.
I was at Partizan in May and it looks like it's all, or mostly, different games which is cool. The Venetian vs Turks game looked great - its nice to see passion projects like that at shows which are a bit off the beaten track, as opposed to the usual diet of WW2 and Naps. The Viking game looked really nice as well. I hope you spent plenty of money on random stuff.
One game I could not figure out what war was early in the video with all sorts of very swampy wetlands between the armies. But the camera never got close enough to see the figures. Anyone who was there help me out on this? Thanks for that video report though, absolutely amazing top notch games.
Thanks for showing this Alex. I see that Strength and Honour is already being bastardised / morphed into other periods, which is only to be expected, wargamers being wargamers I suppose. Regards Lexi
So inspirational to watch all the great minis and tabletops. Im off to buidl and paint!!!

Cheers Garry, sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello, but you were buy when I came past and didn't get a chance to come back!

Great coverage, thanks for posting. Am I hallucinating or is there a giant chicken in the background around the 15:52 mark?
No worries, glad you enjoyed the video, you are not hallucinating, it was there, but god knows what it was about...

Great video…I haven't been to show since 2019. I'm finally hoping to get to one this year.

What rules do the Old Pikeys from Bournemouth play, I didn’t quite catch it. 😂😂
Just rewind the video... 😂😂
How much to rent the billboard with “Storm of Steel “ on it😊??
Mates rates.
Cheers for this Alex. One question though - what's the story with the giant chicken?
No worries Iain. But your guess is as good as mine..
@@StormofSteelWargaming 😂
What scale was the battle of the bulge rapid fire gaming being played in?
As he said, 28mm...
AK47 Republic - Welcome to Zamibia
Cheers!
Did Alan & Michael Perry put on a game this year? 🤔
No, they did one at the earlier show.
@@StormofSteelWargaming thank you for the reply. Hopefully they were about enjoying the day. They seem to have been a little quiet of late..
