@SCPython are you really sure that you can talk to terrorists&)))) and that terrorists are able to fulfill some promises?)))) do you really think that Ukraine is the first country that suffered from Russian aggression? or is it better to turn on the brain and neutralize the terrorist!

"war must end". I honor all who advocate for peace. Thank you.
Humanity cannot afford war, for any reason. "War and conflict will only squander the precious resources. Do not think that cities can be rebuilt and nations restored if they are devastated, for no one will have the resources to really do this. War and conflict, for whatever purpose, will only serve to hasten your demise.
Even if conflicts are generated to support freedom, there will be a great cost, not only in this moment but in the future of that nation. This is not to say that freedom movements should not occur, but there must be a reckoning of the greater costs by all who are involved.
If leaders realized this, and their populations were dissatisfied, they would step aside. They would relinquish the reins of control. For the future of their nation is at stake-not just for today and tomorrow but for the years and decades to come." from the prophetic revelation "The Upheaval" NewMessage org

Sometimes war becomes mandatory to establish peace although war itself is ugly and horrible. Russia's invasion in Ukraine is being condemned worldwide and people are pleading sanctions against Russia, they are greatly moved by the sufferings of Ukrainian people. Big countries should send relief and arms supply to defend Ukraine because a major territory of Ukraine is occupied and destroyed by Russia. We should awake before it is too late. Not even close to that. Putin and his fellowship condemned this prize saying it supports antiregime movements. It does the opposite - it says that the winners of these 3 countries are different, yet they share the same goal. It is important to remember that Nobel Prizes are not awarded to countries, but to their people thus separating them from each other.

@@platonmakinen8280 Putting Ukrainians in the same box as Russians is the common justification for genocide against Ukrainians by Russians. So even though the Nobel committee had no intention of justifying a genocide against Ukrainians, giving the prize together with a Russian organization and Belarusian person was in very bad taste.

I still think Crimea sort of looks like a voice box, entrance to the larynx in a mouth. If it became the official EU capital, it would certainly allow the borders of the story to be told from a different perspective ... the outer would become the inner and the inner the outer ... the light, attraction, pull, would be on the middle, Crimea and the current centres would become the peripherals ... with periphery scenes for clandestine meetings in support of or to undermine the middle ... at any rate, it seems like migration would more likely be to where the light and the voice box is ...
    I don't know.
    Short version:
... where is the current fighting? ... what is it over ... exactly ...? ... it doesn't look like it might cease any time soon. ... Would it be impossible, in that area, to convert the type ... of war ... from war of might to war of words?
i.e. Ukraine retain sovereignty, possibly join the EU, a section of Ukraine (with Ukraine's permission) become the de jure capital of the EU, a buffer area that is Ukraine and Russia
... NATO headquarters remain where they are ... ?
and, ... which agreement already assures Ukraines borders?
("Memorandum on security assurances in connection with Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons"
Was it not agreed to or signed by, Russian Federation, Ukraine, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America?
The UK and USA, don't have permission to enter Ukraine, to protect the border? ... Not NATO, but the UK and USA? .... and, because it is in writing, it is something that Russia would object to?)
This wouldn't support military goals, with less negative impact on civilians than sanctions or lending/giving military equipment*, and or contribute to long term security, safety and lives of military personnel?
*military equipment (that might get scavenged/reverse engineered/sent elsewhere/on sold and or seized? ... and an increased risk, that, doesn't seem like it would be impossible to forsee: friendly fire, and, fingers point, as if otherwise?).
... distance of Ukraine ... possible EU de jure capital, international embassies ... Iranian oil ... ?
... if a section of Ukraine (with Ukraine's permission) becomes the de jure capital of the EU ... the US would need an embassy there ... as would the UK and Russia and e.t.c. ...
    also,
... de jure capital of EU in Ukraine ... seems like there would be more cameras there then ....
... who can assist with knowledge and wisdom, to turn it into a historic moment? ... peaceful? ...

If they awarded people from Ukraine, Poland and UK optics would have been better. Even if they did Norway, Sweden and Finland optics would have been better. For those who don't appreciate the irony - people in Norway, Sweden and Finland would have grudged to such a move.
Better yet - to understand and appreciate the optics from Ukraine - these bureaucratic bozos from Nobel shop should have awarded human rights advocates of Norway, North Korea & Iran instead.

Noble Prizes are not awarded to countries. They are awarded to most important people/organizations and it doesn't matter where they come from. Thus they separate those two things. Being an organization in Russia and giving it a Nobel Prize doesn't mean they support Russia - they do a totally opposite thing.

bullshit. what measures were taken in russia and belarus against totalitarianism? absolutely nothing. its ok for them to live in this situation and to bring war in Ukraine.
thus it's a huge mistake and insult for ukrainian nation to merge with those animals.
i hope that ukrainian laureate will reject the prize.

I don't remember that Russians were supported by the democratic countries in 2011-2012 during the protests. Everyone wanted to trade with Putin at that time. That's why we are where we are now.
