As a tech who hasn’t studied in a while, these videos are a great refresher on the details!

absolutely! i am a mammo tech and occasionally do x-rays so these are extremely helpful!

Just a suggestion🙏🏾, I think it would be nice if you could add the exposure parameter/technique values to these video. I Greatly appreciate your videos

It is too difficult because of the wide variation in digital systems and the electronics that drive it. For instance if you are using mains power or using 3 phase rectified - a 100mA machine or a 300mA capable. Digital systems give users a score that tells whether the radiograph is over or under exposed. If you need to test techniques, get some bones from the butcher or use water phantoms. Never use anything less than 70kV for a pelvis for big solid people you need to use up to 85kV

@@thevoiceharmonic oh Yh the exposure indicators you mean, yeah!👍🏾 nothing less than 70 kVp or approximately above 85 kVp. I appreciate your reply.

The way to take this projection without using a centring point is to collimate accurately to the receptor, then use the illuminated field to ensure the iliac crests will appear on the top of the radiograph. Tutor videos of lowest dose and the great error - on my channel.
