I would love a table top time talking video, Jay from eons of battle makes a weekly models and memories of the week which is fantastic to listen to while hobbying.
I love seeing the traitor guard, and also Murrys Steel Legion, tbh i love anything to do with the Guard :D. Also i do love this style of video, just sitting and having a chat about the hobby and goings on
I like the format. Getting to see more models together that have not been shown as in depth before is great! And those presented today are cool in the way they are all so different.
Dave's Traitor Guard army is like everyone's favourite army aspirations. Been working on it for like a decade but only a couple units and vehicles are actually painted.
I love seeing guides about people's personalised forces/armies especially if it's got years worth of history. Please introduce all your factions this way!
Really enjoyed you guys just talking about your personal projects. Love the enthusiasm about your own projects as opposed to something for the channel all of the time.
I love you guys talking about stuff, I mean we're one of the gang. WE love talking about minis! and I think its fair to say we love all of you :D I love the professionalism from all of you but i love the chaotic behind the scenes tomfoolery more :p
Great Traitor Guard. Another source for heads, and just bits in general, would be the Necromunda upgrade sets - particularly the Forgeworld Ash Wastes upgrades. Plenty of respirators, and backpack gubbins in those.
Love the Victoria Miniatures' mortars. I have an army of her Praetorian stand-ins (I think they're called: Arcadians) done up in the dark blues, blacks, and dark grays with red cuffs and piping of the Prussian military of the 1870s, that use them. In my head canon, they are the System-wide Defense Force (an SDF rather than the more usually talked about Planetary Defense Forces) trapped on the wrong side of the Cicatrix Maledictum defending their strategically-placed solar system against all comers including: Orcs, Tyranids, Necrons, and Chaos (primarily Blackstone Traitor Guardsmen and Cultists). Basically, they are one of the armies that my primary army, the Orks (whose spores infest many of the system's worlds), beat up on from time to time. *_WAAAGH!!!_*
Enjoy the different style of video and excited to see more of these in the future! You guys obviously do some amazing projects but it is nice to see some of the stuff that you all are more passionate behind the scenes with stuff coming from your hobby desks with your passion projects
Here for the new format. Very excited to see all your custom army's on parade and to hear your opinions on hobby news, While not needing to have to split attention on what you're painting at the same time.
My only issue is it becomes a little harder to believe the grown ups wouldn't take a super heavy by force, even if the kids get results, too rare and valuable
I would absolutely love to see videos like this. You guys mention in a lot of videos feeling rushed I would love to see you take your time and put out even more amazing things.
We are all playing a miniature wargame. So we share an interest in the miniatures themselves and how we collect and paint them. So it’s always nice to see someone proudly present their collection in depth.
Awesome seeing showcase videos where fellow hobbyist show their stuff and just talk about it. Your excitement really shows and its great having my hobby meter get refilled by this project😁Also shout out to the Lost and Damned codex
Good format for y'all to keep your video schedule up without working yourselves to death. I imagine it will also let you keep discussion going about projects that take a while or just fall by the wayside like your Age of Sigmar battles and armies.
I don’t care which traitor guard project comes next, I just love these traitor guard video and want more. The way Dave talks about each model have its unique story behind their gear and equipment. I love that you guys are doing these hobby chat/podcast videos, it’s a nice video to listen to and get some hobbying done. I love the passion behind these videos and channel.
I got into Guard with the Vrakks line and when the "new" Guard codex came out back then. Based mine on a mining colony as well, basically the workers revolted from their conditions and took over the colony. Played them as Guard mostly but with a few extra inserts using the Vrakks book for the Chaos Ogryns (cause those models were drop dead gorgeous) and the Enforcer rules. It was a nice change from the normal guard that everyone had, always took people by surprise.
I love hearing you guys' opinions on just general news! I definitely wouldnt mind more occasional discussion style videos, as long as it fits your production schedules! :)
Please please pleasssseeeeeee more videos with army showcases, showing off your armies and models, talking passionately about them, why you collect, the lore behind them, future plans for the army etc.
Already loving this format, its honestly very nice to hear you just sit and chat and get to know you, your opinions and armies better! My partner said this today: It is the wow factor that gets people to watch but it is the personality that makes people stay. I think this is a good line to remember, yes you need the epic video that does well and attract people, and then you need to get some kind of personal with us to make us stay and love you, i think you have already done it with all us regulars and hopefully you can do it with all the other people out there :D
watching you build this army has given me so many ideas for my DKOK army. Granted it will be more based around 3D printing sculpts but watching you make these guys is great inspiration. Question have you ever consider using any nercomunda models to pull into the army? some of them would be great starting points for chaos
I enjoyed this and I'd love to see more like it - maybe more collaborations with people outside the channel as well, inviting them in to chat about their armies.
I like the hobby talk. Maybe include highlights of different points for it? For instance here half of the army showcase was talking about kitbashing and you guys have done videos on sculpting and 3d printing bits but mostly the smaller excess bits for those conversions don't get sourced to the audience well. I personally would love to see a hobby talking vid from you guys that's just all about how you plan a conversion, where bits can be sourced (pop goes the monkey is great for my deathwatch but my crons need love), and just the love for creation I feel in all of your videos. Love the videos, these are awesome!
I just wanted to let you know your Siege Batteries were very usable in Guard armies, they're called Medusa Carriage Batterys or Earthshaker Carraige Battery. In the Munitorum Field Manual.
I've always been on the fence on the guard, but having seen Dave's traitor guard and Murray's steel legion has given me inspiration to make a Valhallan ice warriors combat patrol, which might just expand into a whole army if i can find enough parts and sculpts.
Firstly: You can use Earthshaker carriages. They are a FW index model. Secondly: Love the army. Always happy to see more guardsmen, loyal or not. Very characterful, very nice conversions!

I love seeing what you have done before, this renegade guard army really look like a bunch of renegades come together. Would love to see the tank you talk about, maybe it could be a Malcador since they are very old? They might fit being rustry and grimy. Talk videos sounds interesting as an add-on to the format you have now. I am sure you have lots of interesting hobby-thoughts to share with us.
Love the new style of vid and I got the news from you guys that I was not aware of that storm cast(that I just started collecting) will be losing models so thanks for the news😊
This was great. Hopefully next showcase we get to see Murry's Steel Legion army. For the traitor guard, I really like the artillery pieces and the command squad. They are so excellently done
Most of the time I'm aware of my limits on hobby time and skills for making/ moding, but occasionally I hear something that makes me want to rethink that, and "Lost Boys' Tank" was one of them. That sounds like the kind of thing I normally see as art online and write 3-6 page stories about, if not longer ones.
I listen to talking videos at work. I'm lucky to have a job where i work in an office by myself with data, so i like only looking up every once in a while but still know what's going on.
I love your trator guard journey, my own guard went down a bit of a rabbit hole where I made squads of ten that where unique then rn them as scions, kraksians, kreigers and regular guard. My most recent conversion is imperium tau fire warriors, (I used the extra wrist cuffs from the mk3 marines s shoulder pads
Will continue to watch on my TV later, whilst I pack my 3000 points of lost and the Damned in my living room, lol no joke. Had my first game in years against myself just to relearn 40k. It was jumble of 3rd Ed Codices [Daemonhunters, Eye of Terror, Chaos 3.5] and 4th Ed, 5th & 6th Ed BRB. It took a long time. Creative armies like yours are rare these days.
The army looks absolutely fantastic. Very inspirational. Just wanted to point out regarding the comment about not be able to use the Earthshaker Carriage Battery, not only are they still usable, they're actually competitively viable. It's in Astra Militarum Forge World Index 1. 120 pts for basically a Basilisk that can't move with one worse BS, but can take Regiments keyword orders.
Yeah I think I turned up my nose when I read the weird lack of crew and just skimmed over it, forgetting about the fw options. It also seemed a lot worse on first read, being so expensive and worse BS and worse profile I didnt see the value vs the basalisk
Yeah, I was sold on them basically being a Basilisk for 15 fewer points. They may have a worse defensive profile, but your arty shouldn't be taking shots anyways. And sure they have a lower BS, but it's not like you were going to have a spare tank order. While you always have plenty of Regiments orders going around, so they hit on the same number in most games anyways.
I love these army showcases like Murray’s steel legion and Dave’s traitor guard. Maybe Jen showcases her sisters (plus big night) next? On the topic of model removals, the Stormcast line seems like blatant mismanagement while beast men and savage orcs appear to have been on life support for the entirety of AoS. Love the video. I think it would also be cool to see you actually play with your armies on occasion as well. Similarly to the way you did with the space bears kill team/battle report.
If we can find a way to fit it in the schedule and justify the cost - We would love to - This kind of casual midweek video is the first step in the right direction to freeing up the time to do it though
The traitor guard looks awsome. And would love to see more. Including the Orphan tank. I know they released a beast man kill team a bit ago l, might work well as a shock squad for your army.
I would love to see either like a ramshackle transport with these traitor guard just handing on something very in motion or an aircraft since you have yet to do one of those.
Fantastic army, true rule of cool right there! Projects like this really reinforce my belief that one shouldn't feel beholden to GW and use alternative rulesets instead when the official one gets in the way of fun and creativity.
I would love a table top time talking video, Jay from eons of battle makes a weekly models and memories of the week which is fantastic to listen to while hobbying.
How can they have more to talk about... well, they do!
Yes more of this. Love watching EoB. Like what you did in this episode, and the ideas you mention for variance.
I would definitely love something like that
Bring Jay to Australia and do a video.
Would love an eons of battle/tabletop time collab
I'd absolutely LOVE to see that "Little Lamplight" traitor tank realized. It'd be fantastic!
