For only 14 euros/month...wow. Why do they not include the native version if you buy an interface? That is what Universal Audio does....

I had an antelope 4 years ago, sonically the best! A month later I had to return it, basically it reset itself, I didn't burn 2 Dynaudio by miracle!
The brand's response was: You'll have to return it for repair!
    Never again!!!!
    Apparently the problems continue...
    Release date: 10.01.2024
    - Stability and performance improvements
    - Added compatibility for the 10MX atomic clock
    - Fixed freezing after computer goes to sleep on macOS and Windows
    - Fixed issue when Antelope Launcher would force close right after opening on Windows

I'm hesitating between different audio interafces, Antelope ones being in the short list. However, eveybody tells me that with super fast computers, realtime and DSP make no longer sense. How many heavy plugins (analog simulations) a DSP can run in parallel?

It really Depends on how much processing do you use and if you use it in the pre, post stage or real time.... my pc is super "fast" but i realised for some plugins it doesnt matter how super fast the pc is.. for example if your tracking with plugins or using real time plugins such as autotune for vocals it helps alot offloading processing onto the interface which is solely dedicated for use of the plugin... unlike a pc which focuses on everything.. i have a Zen go with all antelope mics and i track/record with plugins so its VERY handy for this use

To avoid confusion, I should mention that Real-Time effects and plugins are two different things. Real-Time effects are loaded in the Control Panel of the interface. According to how many effects you can run, it depends on the interface. Feel free to send us a DM with details if you have more questions.

This advice (from everybody) is nonsense! The FPGA plugins are designed to simulate the actual circuits in the devices it intends to emulate. The Native plugins, although great, don’t hold a candle to FPGA simulated hardware.

Is AFX2DAW stable now? I've heard it has been a problem in the past.

It depends on the interface model. You can check these details on our website.

You have to be kidding right? Like I’m going to buy the same plugins twice? I’ve not known Antelope to make any new plugins for ages, just milking the same ones used by the hardware for native plugins. This is complete marketing tomfoolery!

They should really give you the native version if you buy the Synergy FPGA version. I understand they are trying to do the membership garbage and make money hand over fist but that is a bad model. Everyone makes these plugins. Now, if they would do like cellular companies used to do and give you an Audio interface and possibly a Modeling Mic for free when you sign up for service, that might be worth it.
