For the same reason altitute is added of 100ft when reaching the gate in order to remember that in the next flight you need to set the initial climb alitude. :D
11. Check for the weather where the flight school is located. TS, CB weekly, daily low CLD, fog, +SHRA, frontal weather, wind 25kt gust 35kt, tailwind landing, moderate turbulent ... Those will make you become a good pilot... or a fighter pilot. Welcome to New Zealand.

There are no flying school which gives scholarship specially in India. Your marks doesn't work here. But you can take a loan from local banks which can provide you approximately full fee for your flyschool ( if you have similar collateral) but remember only getting a CPL will not work as you have to do a type rating in order to land on a junior first officer seat.

In Europe you don't need to have a college degree to become an airline pilot. You can start the flight training for example after you have graduated from high school.

I'm a "Private Pilot" in the united states. I was able to study and take the written exam for this license before I went to a flight school. There is extensive study material available for free online. Google search "Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators" and download it. Also there is free PDF books on www.faa.gov website. You can find all the (US) FAA laws and regulations from the Gleim website. (Search Gleim FAR/AIM) In fact, everything you need to learn is available online for free.

Get a high paying career. Buy a cheap airplane (piper, C172/150, etc). Hire a good instructor. Get the ratings you can. Then go from there.

European advice, because the costs and rules in the EU suck so badly that it is cheaper to vacation in the USA just to take flight school.
