Great video! I am learning something new in each video you make. Great work! I really appreciated that video because you addressed medium/low spenders players. Indirectly, you finally answered a burning question that I had since a while : should I invest for my 2nd and 3rd marches for the monthly trial event or reuse heroes? The answer is obvious now.
I give you the best advice possible which comes from more then 3 years gaming experience.
You guys watch , but then decide ..to apply or not .
When I started to build my marches …I build navi , then tanks , then planes.(cause navi was absolutely amazing back then…as good as the tanks right now).
So I had : best navi , best tanks and 2 out of 3 best heroes for airplanes. While I was building my airforce march …I started to focus more on perks .
My planes were more than 1 year with no proper perks . They worked beautifully..with the suppression

The problem for normal spending people is that by the time they have enough gems and skills to fully upgrade a march TW will have new heroes to replace them…
Hence some say build one march and perk it, as the perks can be switched to the new heroes…
2 schools of thought
This was very correct…on the past …with brunhildr..the new rivergame hero policy changed …new heroes are just an alternative.
This does help us a bit .
@@t-me8295 Bottle neck is still the hero skill shards. For those who don't pay much money to the game, they will invest in meta heroes with lvl 5 skills, sticking with those heroes until they can collect enough shards to switch to new meta set and skipping some heroes along the way because they can't afford to skill them up yet. Switching the perks is affordable, so it would make sense to get the main march at least fully perked up and switch the perks to new meta heroes after they can afford the skills.
To my experience, universal hero shards are not a bottle neck. I can never switch the heroes anyway because I can't get the skill, so those universal hero shards just pile up until that one day I can finally upgrade.
To low-mid budget players it makes more sense to invest gems in universal hero shards and permanent buffs (decors, decors etc.) that will still remain even when TW throws in a new meta hero. Investing heavily on always having the new hero gives power short term, but it always encourages a player to spend more money. It's smarter to slowly gather skill shards, build base stats up and make the jump to meta when those resources have accumulated enough.
Back then, i spend all my gs on perking whatever hero i was using at that time. I started on katyusha, transfer it to optimus and start perking kayusha and bradley again. Now since i'm done with my pvp march, i'm focusing on farming perk for ganzo and tywin.
For the hero return, i did get bailos and aya a while ago because i like collecting free heroes.
Yes. You must have at least 1 best march ..then start with perks :
- you will get some fragments of certain heroes which can be use for perks
- do the ATK Perks first

Hey timmy great video as always 🎉❤. Do hero abilities after level 7 increase exponentially considering that amount of money being spent on level 8 or even level 9s? Or is it just a linear growth which feels completely useless spending 6k usd for a level 8.

If you don’t have shinji at 5 stars , finish striker. Both are among best 4 heroes ever in top war right now
2 video recommendations :
1. Army meta march fully perked vs army meta march no perks. It will give even more clarity to players how important or useless perks are with meta vs meta heroes
2. Re explanation of hero order in a march. I know you made a video about this but I'm still confused about which hero should come first and why
Yes my dear. I picked Navi , cause the vast majority of players start with it . Not necessarily the best choice. Ofc tanks or planes are better .
Regarding hero order …there indeed a certain and general order …but mostly have to be decided for each hero.
Example:
Vast about of players (plural) test shows :
- Shinji preforms best on slot 2, Maximo on slot 1, Optimus (I know he is expired) on slot 1 .
That’s why , in general , I mention the hero order in the hero video ..presumably the meta changed or it’s a good alternative
@@t-me8295 I said about army because those heroes are more stable in performance by covering each other unlike navy or airforce and there is no silence. I know meta team will win against non meta perked but what about the performance against meta vs meta with n without perks(not talking about win factor but how far non perk meta can push a perked meta team). That's what I'm more curious about.
Regarding hero order, I guess I'll always stay confused because it will change with every new hero in the march lol
Everything else being same, perked vs non perked would be a good comparison video
@farhaded I thought it’s way better idea : meta without perks vs old heroes (in hero return) with perks .
As this game has one currency: the gems .
In hero return you have a rate of 220-260 gem per SPECIFIC hero shard . Which is pretty much the same with lucky numbers , flippy rates , but you get universal hero shards

When can I do perks if I make 5* using gold shards for the best hero setup every 3 months a new hero comes out? It's very expensive to buy gold shards with money.
We all buy universal hero shard with gems.
Floppy cards , lucky numbers , deep sea hunting.
Perks are important, no question…but it’s a better option to build up the best 3 hero setup for one unit branch
The answer will depend on what heroes you have currently on you march. If you have the current meta, you can start doing your perk immediately. If you have incomplete meta heroes, start saving up 620 gs and 2025 universal skill shards. When dev release a new meta hero, get that and start your perk.
NEVER chase a new hero everytime they came out. They might be stronger, but not by much.

Ive been saving universal shards for awhile and have almost 3k now. But i only have enough exclusive shards for 2 lvl5
Air main and using Max, Shinji and Brady.
Also have Gipsy at 5 star.
Does it make sense to 5 star striker, Crimson and Brynhill even with the lvl5 exclusives?
Do striker and asuka ..please pay attention: asuka won’t need hero exclusive skill that badly …striker needs his lvl 5 .
Next week, we get the new airforce hero. I must test …most likely an alternative …NOT replacement

I honestly advise you guys in this way : 1 or 2 solid marches , then worry about the rest. This is how I have developed my account.

@@t-me8295 very true bro. I’ve only ever done my perks from free hero shards. Universal are for new hero’s. I think it’s not the universal shards that are the issue. It’s getting harder to keep up with the exclusive skills 🫣

Should i upgrade asuka es5 or wait for next hero? Currently running asuka without es, i’m not a big spender.
It's completely fine to use asuka without es5. Ofcourse her performance gets better with es5 but she does fantastic job even without that

Absolutely true. Both heroes :Akatora and aya do have a passive skill on their lvl 5 .
My point in this video is that…was to see it from f2p or low spenders players point of view.
If I would had such account …I personally would build the tanks and planes first …then worry about the passive buffs .

Both : perks and hero meta are super important…my gaming experience showed me : build at least 1 march …at least 2 out 3 hero the best .
Tanks : gipsy + striker (or Shinji) ..use whatever you have as 3rd hero ….also asuka is way to good without exclusive skill..I would do her also to 5 star…then go : ALL IN perks
T-me what about Hero Bond? Some of these are needed for Hero Bond. 😊

I'm building a navi & army march, should I build it with setup 1: navi - Gipsy, Layla, Crimson & army - Bry, Asuka, Striker OR setup 2: navi - Gipsy, Striker, Crimson & army - Bry, Asuka, Shinji?
If you watch more of my videos ….I STRONGLY suggest AGAINST doing navi .
Extremely expensive to maintain and very complicated heroes .
That being said :
Navi (cause you insisted on it ) : gipsy Layla crimson and tanks : Bry - asuka - asuka striker (OR shinji) whichever you can bring faster to 5 stars

I personally use asuka gipsy striker. For now, my bryn is on my 2nd army march. I don’t like her magnetic wave at all. Hitting AFTER the opponent’s slot hit me . It’s not good

Sooo here's a twist. I started playing in March of this year (2023) I have never had the chance for Gira or Akatora. I spent 12.5k gems to get them and akatora skill 5.
My reasoning: 1. Gira is part of a hero bond. 2. Aakatora skill 5 is nice to have. And 3. The more heros I can throw gold production skills on the better lol

I definetly wouldn't recommend it for a FTP player or someone who isn't in an active alliance.

How many shards is it to fully perk a hero,
For each hero you have 4 perks of each 110% = 440% (all perks)
Per 1% you need between 3-4 fragments on average = 1320 -1760 fragments per hero with full perks
