    I thoroughly enjoyed that large book, Wayne posses a brave, unique photographer mind! Hey Ted, a designated photo critique show would be wonderful. Say for a small fee, one could have their portfolio, photos looked at in said show?

    You are so fortunate Ted, then again this channel of yours is a lifeline to so many creatives and so no doubt people send you such great pieces of Photography! That books reminds me a bit of the Helmut Newton Book that came with its own table.

    Jay Maisel (May Zel) is an incredible human being in addition to being a great photographer. I had the good fortune of participating in one of his workshops when he was still in the bank building. Jay and the whole experience left an indelible mark on my life.

    Love Fridays for a lot of reasons, and this is one of them. (It's Tuesday so I'm off a little). No need to apologize for not offering critiques, it's your show. You are doing a great service by showing artists young and old and the great work they are doing. Thank you!

    You need a studio the size of a museum! But then it'd be a museum. 🙂

    I can guess the photographer is just wincing how you are handling that book . He gave instructions . It would be nice to see it in the flesh .
    Perhaps the photographer would try to put it on a web site . Thanks for showing ! Scale is a part of contextual meaning .

    Thank you so much for these videos! You introduced me to Ralph Gibson and I took the release of Refractions 2 as the chance to buy my first ever photo book. The first pages have been written great already, so I can‘t wait to dig deeper and learn about photography.

    It is quite big. The largest picture book was at University of Washington. It was commissioned by Apple, as I recall. A few years ago an even larger one was made.
    This is a fun project. Thanks for bringing it to us.

  • @TheIppoippo
    @TheIppoippo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Now that is big! Maybe is width and height slightly bigger than Helmut Newton's "Sumo", but "Sumo" is thicker (more pages). It's hard to tell visually from this video, and my memory of seeing an original "Sumo" in a collectors store.

    I am going through making photobooks from 13 years of Sony and Travel, so hard to actually choose which images to use. Also what text do I put in? They are books for Famly and Fiends most of which are also photographers. I have added what it is, setting, but I feel I should have a paragraph or 2 of each subject/area. or do I just go total mimilistic?
    So many possibilities, it can be daunting...
