A few months ago I put my dog Zoe down and I was heartbroken. I was sitting on the can and I asked her to give me a sign that she was in a good place and no longer in pain. At that moment both the motion sensor hallway night lights came on. I was filled with such happiness and relief.

I like Julian Lennon he was very badly treated, he was owed more than he got in life. He has all the good aspects of his father without the bad. He's a better man than his father ever was and a credit to his mother. I also love his music.

In the months before my father died, he was unable to work, and would sit outside for hours, often feeding the small birds with seed or crumbs. He built a trust with them. Some of them would land on his knee or arm, and eat the food out of his hand. After he passed, I went with my mother to the funeral directors office. It was at the rear of the premises, overlooking a garden. He had the French doors open as it was a warm day. My mother and I sat down in two leather desk chairs opposite him. Before we could speak, a sparrow flew into the room and landed on the arm of my mother’s chair. It sat there for around ten seconds, just looking at her, before flying back through the doorway and away. I could see that my mother was visibly moved, as was I. I turned to the undertaker, and he too was just sat in silence. I asked f it had ever happened before, and said it hadn’t. We continued and went on with making the funeral arrangements. That experience has stayed with me. I’m absolutely convinced it was spiritual.

Im a builder and I work in a lot of homes in central New Jersey. I have experienced a LOT of weird shit over the years, footsteps, moving furniture in houses with no furniture in them, knocks and doors slamming and voices in the same room as me when I was the only person in the room. But the most memorable experience was the time I saw a man walk into a house I was working in. I thought is was another contractor and went to find him to ask him to lock up the house because I was getting ready to leave. But the house was empty, and where that figure went, there are no exits.

My wife and I were travelling through Ireland and one night we stayed at an old INN . In the night I felt frightened and with a cold sweet , I was too scared to move and I looked over to my wife who was sitting up and looking past me . I asked why she was awake and she did not respond . In the morning I shared the fear I felt and after some coaxing she said that she saw a medieval soldier with a a skull and holding a book and turning pages while standing over me . At breakfast I asked the INN keeper about the place and he told me that it was used as a military hospital during Cromwell’s campaigns through Ireland . 😮

I work in hospice and senior living, ive seen things i cannot explain. I didnt believe in an afterlife before I suspected that was just something people wanted to believe because going to the dirt and ground rotting and nothing after just darkness is too hard for people to accept, huge skeptic. Someone had passed away in assisted living, i then watched this person in the hallway walking towards their room. They turned into their room. I went to check to see who that might’ve been thinking there is no way it was the person who just passed, but I have no doubt it was this person. It was also on security camera. Wanting to believe that there’s a scientific explanation for everything but some of the strange things I’ve experienced in hospice and senior living has made it impossible for me to believe there’s not something else after death

My ex-wife worked in hospice for years. She was a humorless, sober woman, just for the record. She would tell me stories of dark figures going in and out of the rooms, among other things. The house we lived in, strange things would happen that I can't explain. Looking back, I think she brought something home with her, because I'd never seen anything strange before or since.

My grandmother who was extremely religious and blind in both eyes passed away a few years back, before her death she was staying in an old age home and one day when I went to visit her she told me the night before Jesus walked into her room and talked to her for a bit, she said Jesus gave her the ability to see again for a couple minutes which is hard to believe but she would never lie about something like that, she said after Jesus left her room she went blind again and she could hear someone come back into her room and apparently it was the devil this time and he was mocking her for being blind while laughing and shouting hateful things at her, my grandma said she froze up and was scared to talk until eventually she shouted back at him and told the devil she wasn’t scared of him and that god is the only one she fears and after that he left her alone. I know that is probably super hard to believe but my grandma would never lie about anything especially to that magnitude, I believe there are things we can’t fathom that exist beyond our imagination.

I have had a few unexplainble things happen to me over the years. One strange one, was the night after the burial of my friends Mum. We were sitting in her Mum's lounge and out of the corner of my eye I caught sight of a single long-stemed rose waving slowly outside the window. My friend watched me go to the window and look outside because I knew that the border below had been cleared and was just full of earth. I called my friend over "Look at the Rose" she joined me and gasped "Its Mum's Rose, Oh Thankyou"
I did'nt know that her Mum had told her years before that she would send a Rose to her when she passed away. After about ten minutes, the Rose simply faded, leaving the bare patch of soil.

Ive seen the white feather too, while at work. It was small and just floated down from the ceiling. I am a caregiver for an autistic woman in her family home, and it was just the two of us, sitting on the couch, no movement at all. I knew it was significant and watched in amazement, my thought then was my angel is watching over me.
Im convinced special needs people can see into the spirit realm. There have been a handful of times where she was looking at someone or something in the room with us. She is verbal but cant communicate well, but i ask her if she sees something and she responds with "yes". Its not scary either, no evil vibes or anything like that. I collect Indian Arrowheads and one time I was out in the farm field and it was dark, I could barely even see the ground anymore, and was heading to my car to go home; when a voice in my mind said" check out the area to your left".So I walked over and saw the tip of a point sticking out of the furrow, then about 3 seconds later I found another one, both beautiful Waubesa points. I have had a lot of really weird things happen while looking for points. There is also an Indian mound not far from that area.

I have had 3 undeniable ghost experiences and all 3 were in an old house that I lived in up until I graduated high school. I dont feel crazy or any doubt because I wasn't the only one who saw it. One of the isntances was me and my mother walking in her room and we saw a hovering sphere of what looked like some kind of bright mist / smoke (but didn't really look like either one). Neither one of us processed it as a ghost. We were just confused as to what we were looking at. The door bell rang while we were staring at it. Fast forward 10 years from that point and my mother lived in another state and we were talking about the old house and she said, "do you remember that time we saw that weird ball of steam floating in my room?" I said, "yeah i vaguely do remember that." She said, "I didnt want to tell yall what happened until we moved out of the house but when the door bell rang it was Mrs Bozeman and she told me that XXXXXX died." I said, "who is that?" She said it was the daughter of the family that had built the old house we were living in. She had died in a nursing home a few miles away and had died within the hour that Mrs Bozeman was at our door. So we happened to see this ball of mist hovering in my mothers room within an hour of the daughter passing away (she was in her old age) in a nursing home 10 miles away. She apparently lived in that house for a long time but had mental problems and mother was too old to take care of her anymore.

What Julian described in Mexico happens a lot! We recall a photo in a 1980s magazine of a group of Hawai'ian natives--male and female, contemporary, getting ready to push off into the water in a kayak. A photo was taken to commemorate the moment. When it was developed later, they were nonplussed to discover that a ghostly transparent image of a similar group of their Hawai'ian forebears was superimposed over the party! They were wearing grass skirts and headdresses, the whole authentic shebang. Awesome when this happens! Thanks for sharing, Julian, and for BELIEVING.

Space/time itself is 4-dimensional, but neither language, pictorial representations, nor theoretical mathematics can encompass is. There are massive gaps in our perception because, as survival animals, our eyes transfer information to our brain only what is necessary for survival. Rare and wonderful are those occasions when we eclipse that handicap. I realized this the first time I took LSD, but have had another series of experiences that divided my life into "before" and "after." I will never get any answers, but love to read about the experiences of others.

I’ve lost a few people in my life the last few years. It hit me hard when my 34 year old niece passed. She was the flower girl at my wedding and we had a special connection. I asked for a sign, specifically one single bee to come to me to let me know that she was okay. I believe it was two weeks later that a bee landed on my favorite bracelet when I was outside. Every year a few weeks before she passed away I see her name everywhere. I also had an aunt who was a devote catholic. A few weeks after she passed away I was finding white feathers on an almost daily basis for two months. They were in the most of the house and outside. I knew it was her. I stopped believing in coincidences. When you see repeating numbers or animals, pay attention, there’s a message for you.

I was editor of a UK photography magazine some years ago and had a day pass to visit non-public areas of the London Underground to test camera equipment, esp. in low light conditions. I was testing a camera on a tripod on a disused platform (and one of the furthest down) in Elephant & Castle Tube station, where I'd been for about 20 minutes, so even though it was midday (and summer), there was very little natural light. Alone at the end of the platform, something or someone blew onto my neck, and I immediately turned around but there was no one there. I was a little freaked out by the eerie atmosphere and simply brushed it off as something easily explainable that my mind had created. And then it happened again - this time very distinctly! I became so scared I quickly packed up my gear and ran faster with each step along the platform to the old Victorian spiral staircase, and when I reached the guard's office on the next level, was asked if I was 'ok', as the guard had watched me on his CCTV screen panicking. When I said 'not really', he said that I wasn't the first to have experienced such a thing... and I probably wouldn't be the last. Apparently, there's a mischevous old lady who puts the woolies up visitors from time to time. Nothing was seen on-screen and my photos revealed nothing. I've no experiences since (and I am 99% atheist), however, it most certainly happened and I cannot explain it. About a quarter of the old Elephant & Castle underground station is still in use today, though this particular platform was adopted as a shelter during The Blitz in WW2 - so a lot of people died from their injuries down there.

Although many claim to be skeptics, its odd that when the subject comes up, if asked if they ever experienced anything they cannot explain, most have in fact had experiences.
On one occasion, a lady we were having coffee with, said she did not believe in ghosts, but she did have an experience she could not explain.
She visited her neighbour for the first time, the neighbour asked her to sit in the sitting room, while she made coffee, while there, a little girl entered the room and played with a doll, then skipped out of the room.
After the neighbour came with the coffee, she asked about the girl, presuming it was her daughter.
The neighbour was so surprised, telling her that her daughter had passed away many years ago as a child. The description of the child fit her deceased daughter to a T.
They looked all over the house, there was no child.
The neighbour was overwhelmed, and happy beyond words.
However the lady that saw the girl, insisted, she was no ghost, that she probably was some random child from the neighbourhood that entered the house.
    Sometimes, seeing is not believing.

I worked in a hospital for many years and met quite a few coworkers who had ghostly experiences. The most bizarre was a guy who was working in the kitchen one night when he saw a naked man standing a short distance away with his back turned facing a wall, and who appeared to be waving at someone. He said he was standing behind the guy when he turned, became frightened, and dove straight through the wall. Later a nurse came down and chatted with him. When he noticed she seemed sad she said that a male patient had died that evening who everyone liked. She then went on to describe exactly the same fellow who the man in the kitchen had seen.

I will not dismiss what people see or feel, I think we all see the world differently.
Whether it's our senses becoming amplified during our time of grief, or a way that helps us process the loss, who's to say.
Honestly, things have happened that I can't explain. My friend's house was full of energy. My bag was unzipped in front of me, we all saw a shadow run down the stairs, and caught some audio of voices we didn't recognise. Door handles would rattle, sounds of things being dragged across the landing... Loads of stuff we could not explain.
I don't believe people who claim they can talk to the dead. There are too many charlatans who take money from people when they're at their most vulnerable.
But, there's some things we cannot explain.

As I stopped outside, I looked up at the clear night sky, mostly to stretch my back. Then, out of nowhere, a falling star shot out of the darkness, heading straight for me like someone had fired it right at me.
Instinctively, I pulled back, thinking it was going to hit me, but at the last second, it veered hard to the left and disappeared. The sound it made-I’ll never forget it. It was like the hiss of a flare as it got closer, then fizzled out as it vanished.
As far as I’m concerned, that was some kind of message. I have no idea who it was from or what it meant, but I’m certain it was meant to get my attention.

I have a deck called Angel wishes by Debbie Malone...
    One of them reads:
"When a feather floats down from above an Angel is showering you with love"

Wow, here in Cartagena - Colombia where I live, there is a hotel called "HOTEL SANTA CLARA", and long time ago that hotel was a nunnery, and I know people who has worked there and they say exactly what you're saying, even the guest, They see nuns all over the place.

When I was a young teenager, I was lying in bed one night when a white translucent boy clutching something crept past my door in the hallway. I tried to scream and barely let out a sound. He looked in at me, turned around and ran the other way. I called my mom and she came in to comfort me. Just one experience I’ve had.

I find it baffling people don’t believe in spirits.
When we have absolutely no idea where the soul of things comes from in the first place.
I do believe in some sightings its when things align ( energy build up ) to replay a past.
I have had a dead battery go to half charge once walking in a woodland and all my skin was goosebumps and hair sensitive.

I lived in a haunted house in the year 2001where I, as well as a man and a teenager, saw a ghost. We all described him the same.....

Myself and my daughters have experienced many unexplainable events in various homes. In some places the activity was greater and in some the activity was more alarming than others. My father, who is not much of a believer of ghosts or paranormal activity, told me once when he was visiting “I think I saw your ghost”. He was in our den at the computer and saw my mom go by in her black robe out of the corner of his eye (she was heading toward the kitchen). Except….my mom was actually still asleep in the guest room down the hall. It was such a clear image of something dark passing by that he had no other explanation and from then on agreed we had a ghost. It was a dark energy that roamed the bldg where we lived so thankfully it wasn’t ever present.

Around 10 years old , so no drugs or anything involved 😅, i was heading home to my mum and dads tenement flat, wss a snowy night , just as was near the close there was a power cut, all the lights on street went out, lamppost we call them in Scotland, close lights too were out, i was almost at top of stairs to middle landing and a bright blueish light just lit it up, turned around and at bottom of the stairs thee was a baby about 9 months or so as he was crawling well up the stair towards me😅, clear bluish smoke everywhere around him, found out years later that a fire had occurred on that same spot about 30 years earlier, and yes a young baby died
