When you get an assault card and suppress with the wehrmacht infantry, you don't roll for the whole side, just like mortar you have to roll to decide which person you are rolling to suppress or not
Thank you I’ve found this so helpful...one question at 25:10 you take out a rifleman but you remove the one furthest from the house? Why wouldn’t you take out the one nearest - or perhaps this is irrelevant to the game. Great video though, tidied up a few loose ends for me!
I am only learning the game but my understanding is this: in the green #1 lane there were two tokens, one riflemen and one scout. They have different stats, specifically their defense value. The riflemen has a defense of 4 and the scout a defense of 5. He probably shot the riflemen instead of the scout to have higher odds of removing a token from the board.
It would seem to be a good strategy to get rid of the disruption on #13 whenever you can, to stop them from moving up to 14-17. I have this game, haven't played it. I believe I will, now. Prolly get crushed! Well done playthrough.
Obviously you really enjoy this game. Do you prefer this over Stalingrad river on the Volga? Realize they are different in many respects, but both are solitaire Stalingrad games. Thanks for opening up your thoughts and gaming sessions to us.
Draw a card and see what happens, roll the dice and see what happens. Wow. Thanks for the playthrough though, nice job. Just seems like a random chance fest.
You really need to get a grip on what is Strategic", "Operational" and "Tactical" Levels of military operations. You made many mistakes discerning the different maps. You also did not discuss the time frame or amount game turns nor the victory conditions. I did not see either of those discussed in your Co-Op game with your friend either.
Been watching through the entire "Playthrough" playlist - these are great! Always enjoy the commentary on the bad rolls. 😂
Just sat down playing and learning the game last night for about 30 minutes. I really enjoyed the little I played. Can't wait to play more.
Very enjoyable video!
I ordered this game yesterday and I'm looking forward to giving it a go!
This game looks really fun to play. Thanks for the first half I really like it. 👍
Grant what you use to store your gaming counters?
Thanks for this video, I have bought the game and I’m going to give it a go after I watch the second part

That was actually antitank rifle, not artillery or antitankgun. Minor thing no sweat, looks quite nice game.
Also Grant how long have you and Alexander been playing games together?

Mortar: hey comrades let's fire
Sniper: Haha Nien!
Sup, Grant! Nice. Check your e-mail!
