Im starting to look forward to how he pulls out the boxes more than the review itself to be honest.
she is definitely a great kit, some panel-lining and decals work wonders and make her look even better.
and if you have some other kits you can easily make a 2nd megami device from the left over parts

Thanks for the break down. As a new MD builder, I didn’t realize that there were just extra parts that they throw at you for customization for your other kits.
So sad I missed the first run. Hope there's a reissue soon.

I managed to get a "used" one of these from AmiAmi, she's my first "Megami Device" kit strictly from that line. My first actual Megami Device kit was the Gene Stellatears from PSO2. I feel like I have now spoiled myself with Asra Ninetails though as I doubt the other kits will have nearly as much extra parts and options, lol. I managed to devise a variation of the Ninetails mode that uses all the booster parts and a few of the other extras, so I'm happy with that. I just wish the stands on these were better, because all the parts makes her pretty heavy lol.
I also put the decals on her and it does make a huge difference (though the tiny gold ones are super annoying and I had to buy Mark Setter to keep them from falling off), but she's a great kit even without them.

The Magical Girl/Witch kits come with lots of fun effect parts that use the 3mm connection point. Highly recommend for the accessories alone
hey, im interested to buy a secondhand kit from amiami, but was quite unsure what 2nd hands mean in amiami. was the kit already pre assembled when you bought it?
@@kiryuchan1178 Pretty late, but pre-owned model kits in Amiami are not assembled and usually unopened
It's cool to see these kits that I've never even heard of.
If you have the Asra Archer Ouki, you can get an extra sword from this kit. It come with an unused transparent blade.
Still hoping for a reissue of this....

Speaking of Kotobukiya, last June they released or kind of a revive of 03-Aaliyah from the Armored Core line of kits they made. You might wanna give it a shot? It's been a while since you made a review of Armored Cores tho.
I really regret not picking this up when it came out. Super cool looking but is absurdly priced now as usual with out of print koto kits.

Exactly why I jumped at the Tamamonomae as soon as one was available to me.
I' love to build it but honestly I'm kind of scared, just imagining how much it could be worth in a couple of years.

Megami device don’t disappoint. Try the new “auv” body model. (Susanowo, susanowo souen, Amaterasu regalia, and Susanowo regalia). It has better articulation than the Asra series and they are a blast to build.
Got myself the Amaterasu, og susanowo is kinda of a bitch to get because the huge box makes shipping prices skyrocket

the extra Q1 most likely due to the fact that the model is based on the ASRA ninja/archer but the chest piece is a different piece.
and how molds are made where spurs with all of the same colour and material are fabricated on a single large mold, so rather then make a new mold it would be more cost effective to just print out the original base model and just fabricate a new mold for the chest piece

Have built any megami device kits before? If so how complex are they compared to something like HG gunpla
in my experience, they have a tight joints and good plastic quality but the plastic gets stressed if you dont sand,rim the holes and joints. always make it a habit to adjust the fittings on any kit to avoid stress on the plastic when connecting them together
this kits just completely tranforms once you put decals on

USA Gundam has it preordered along with Tamamononae. The unfortunate part is I can't buy them without being stared at awkwardly....besides that, you made a great review to this day. Hope that they are available in the future still

That's already over $100 of kit in one box. Unfortunately I missed first-run because I was waiting for SAL shipping to come back. It's not coming back anytime soon, is it?
I notice of the Rapid Raider parts too haha I have that beautiful kit and about SAL I don't think so, maybe next year :/

I still haven’t build this kit.
The new chest parts look like the 3rd party ones for the original Asra Ninja/Archer. Too bad it doesn't come complete with new hair and fox ears.
Got the 3rd party parts blonde fox eared hair/tail and chest. Made by SH Studio. Pretty bad quality resin kit, even for a third party manufacturer.

studio is a knock off that stole the designs from multiple sellers and they use bad resin pls don't buy from such a company. they are illegal knock off copies
Any recommended third party manufacturers that make good ones for FA and Megami device? I keep looking for it online and only could find SH studio kits.
@@First-Name_Last-Name I'm not very knowledgeable on resin kits. Most of them require a lot of work to look good so I mostly look at other people's builds and hardly use any myself.
@@First-Name_Last-Name try finding things from "muscuto" iirc. he works with kotobukiya to make the official resin kits

The list price of the kit in japan was around $80 I believe, so if you can find the kit now for around $100 honestly that’s pretty fair and you’re gonna have a hard time finding it any cheaper outside of a second hand shop in japan
