@Sean Daugherty 4:05 that's why I added chapters. I get it people don't want to see a Shack in the woods they want to hear the 2 stroke pingin! I'll have alot more videos this season coming up on the bike
80's should def run a little rich to be safe since they see like 12,000rpm. I love my 85, got it fully built with a big bore on her for $480. My baby!!
40:1 is probably fine. I personally run 32:1 with Moutul 800. The more oil the better especially small bore 2 strokes. You want your piston and cylinder lubricated but more importantly you want the bottom end main bearings and crank bearings to be lubricated. It will make them last longer especially if your constantly in the high rpms like a 80cc 2 stroke usually is. I like motul 800 because it has a high Flashpoint and doesn't burn as easy at high temperatures. Plus it's synthetic and doesn't create a mess. Just my 2 cents there's multiple alternatives and opinions online but that's what I do/use 🤙
Respect bro. Love the Honda videos. I got a 2006 cr85, and a 2003 85 expert. I’m considering buying a 80 too if I see a good deal . These things are collectibles 🔥 I believe in 10 year there will be a market for these and they will be the price of the 500cc 2strokes.
@WestHaddnin they definitely are a blast! Being a full sized adult ripping this 80 is a ton of fun. And hopefully they retain there value over time id like that lol. Check out some of my latest CR80 videos if ya haven't already. I actually turned this bike into a big wheel version and she's running alot better than it was in this video 🤙
I'm 6'3 150 pounds. You will fit the bike good. I'm obviously big for it but it's not uncomfortable to ride tbh. It's a great pitbike. Alot better than a 110 haha
I'm 5'11" and around 140 pounds. I just rebuilt a 97' cr80 and couldn't be happier with it. Pretty comfortable to ride, and in my opinion is the most fun bike I've ridden because it's easy to fling around.
