U.S. Military M-1943 Field Jacket WW2 and Korean War

In this video, we take a look at the iconic M-1943 field jacket. this jacket was part of the M 1943 uniform and was used through the rest of World War II into the Korean War by the US forces.

Good condition of AF version of M1943 FJ ! As I said before, I bought similar condition of M1943 FJ in 8000 yen (almost $75) luckily.
Using IKE jacket for under wear of M1943 FJ is good view point of studying of M1943 FJ.
Actually USMC used IKE jacket as under wear of M1943 FJ in Korean War. It is proofed by official footage of Department of Defense in Korean War era.

Hi hello Sir, many thanks for the explanation.
I have a really nice M-1950 that sits in my collection.
Same, it belonged to USAF personnel in TAC.
And the USAF and Tape are stamped on white engineering tape (just what you've said in the video),
Before it gets changed to a many-colored variant based on branch version later.

It looks like m43 jacket 38 size modle b early War mint but missing a few buttons for the hood attach points no problem for 25 dollars thank you for your wealth of information keep up the good work

In ww2 the name tape in white was done by the AAF and some airborne troops. Also most of the time the USAF used white name tapes

I have been wanting an M1950 in a size medium long or large for over 30 years... I think most of them were late ww2 m43's & they just added buttons for a liner. The m1950 liners are different than the m51's too which make it even harder to find the two in the same size.
