Can’t speak for all guys but I find that it’s crucial not to overthink what we are saying. Most of the time, we mean exactly what we say.
that's where the common miscommunication issue occurs. other people get used to reading between lines that when interacting with a straight forward person, they overthink too much and the reverse is also bad when miss the nuances when you take everything at face value.
Maybe for you but as a guy who gets told he is funny half the time im not serious whatsoever. Its just about knowing your audience and being able to not be autistic when it comes to conveying your sincerity

I'm actually a very sarcastic person, I think I began being sarcastic because sarcasm became a special interest for me when I was young (I didn't know I was autistic until I was like 31). I learned sarcasm very well and I think I use sarcasm because it's the only type of nonverbal communication I KNOW and when I'm being sarcastic, it's the only time I know I'm using tones correctly
I think the reason he sounds sarcastic is because he goes quiet at the end of his sentences and his voice is really deadpan and monotone while he has a smile of his face

I have watched toast so much. 90% of the time, he feels like he is on drugs or he is not getting interested to cheer up anyone. He is only smiling when he winning in a game or something. Most of the time, he speaks, its pure sarcasm coming from his tone and deep down he doesn't even realise it.

Like myself, Toast suffers from being monotoned. And as far as facial expressions go, we have like maybe 4. Default/neutral, obviously happy, obviously angry, and obviously sad. Anything that isn't very obvious can often times fall into the neutral state/category. I had a friend who sometimes had to ask if I was angry or annoyed, I think even my own mother asked if I was okay at times, and I was perfectly neutral at those times. But I also have a nervous smile to boot.

I gets this a lot. I also cant tell when others are being serious or just messing with me.
Not understanding tone/inflection and also not being able to control tone/volume are very common traits in neurodivergence, particularly autism and ADHD. I'm AuDHD and it's something I've struggled with my whole life, I have to know someone very well to be able to tell if they are joking. I'm very literal and tend to take what people say at face value. I'm also brutally honest and NT people hate that lol.
The way he talks and delivers is actually better for me as a viewer of otv and friends which is why i watch this dude when they started among us before or the start of covid. You can either expect a sarcastic statement or a genuine based opinion. Bro is actually fun as a streamer but idk bout irl.
