To waste God's time? God is outside of time He created the time and He is not bound by time. So do not worry about His time and prayerfully, giving thanks, come to Him with all your worries, problems, joys asking Him for guidance, discernment, help, advice healing etc... making sure He is involved in every part of your life.

The universe is likened unto the 'brain' of God. When you look at the map of galaxies interconnected, and you look at a human brain with neurons firing, the two images look identical. The universe is consciousness. So when ancients in Astrology looked unto the heavens, they were in fact reading the mind of God. BUT they were looking at it from below, so it was as in a mirror dimly. Thus, we are to only trust in the words of HaShem, and not the stars. . just like Abraham. He looked at the reading of the stars and he did not foresee that he would have a Son, but HaShem said no Abraham look again, but TRUST in MY words, and he looked again and HaShem said so will your descendants be. God's word to Abraham superseded the stars, as the word of HaShem is what formed the universe to begin with.

Hi, I'm seeking to gain more knowledge on religion, Rabbinic Judaism seems to be a good start since it seems like the bridge between modern and ancient understandings of Judaism, but I'm getting mixed responses from Jewish communities online
I don't have access to a synagogue nearby, however I wish to go as often as I can to ask questions, on one hand I hear, don't worry about Judaism just follow the Noahide laws and you'll be fine, on the other hand, I hear don't even look into Judaism just follow the Noahide laws and that's all you're allowed to do
Problem is I'm not just a follower, I have questions, the last thing I want to do is just follow, I think great atrocities have been done because of the "just follow" mentality not to mention I believe it's dehumanizing to tell someone to suspend their reasoning since it's part of what makes one human, so what exactly to do?
Do I ask about the Oral Tradition, Exegesis, Doctrine and other parts of Tradition and scripture, do I suspend my thinking and follow the Noahide laws or is Judaism exclusively for Jews I'm so confused

Just watch Torah lessons for a few years, 20 mins a day, that days parsha. Think about that days lesson that day. In about 3 yrs of good choices, noahide, choices, you should see something 😂

@@mjkcon Well that is my plan, but I first need a holistic account of Judaism and the views within them
I asked about the view on tradition and I kid you not I got three different answers, some say divinely authoritative and inspired, some say important but not divinely inspired and authoritative only Tanakh is, and some say meh they're helpful but don't matter all that much, so I guess I'm looking for a roadmap because jeez there are so many flavors of Judaism it's kind of overwhelming
People joke about Christianity having a lot of denominations but anyone who's studies Islam and Judaism knows how vast the seas are in those religions as well

@keitumetsemodipa3012 You're safer just studying the Torah yourself, stay away from religion, it confuses everything.

@keitumetsemodipa3012 the difference in the denominations of each group is
Christianity denominations differ on major issues
Like when to celebrate their holidays
Judaism sects differ on minor issues
All sects of Judaism celebrate their holidays at the same time
Because most of their holidays are actually in scripture

@@louisesingleton5861 I always have that option, but my goal is to reduce the knowledge gap for myself and others. Recently, I've been visiting various online Jewish communities. In some, discussions stay civil, but as soon as I mention I'm Christian, things often take a turn. People stop listening, and instead, I get called names-"nothing you say makes sense," "you don’t know Hebrew," "you’re an idolater," "you murdered Jews," "you worship a man." All the common soundbites get thrown at me, and I end up learning very little about actual Jewish beliefs. I’m on the verge of stopping religious conversations with Jewish individuals altogether and sticking to discussions with atheists, Hindus, Muslims, or other Christians.
Just a few hours ago, I tried explaining to someone that Christians believe only in Hashem, and that we view Jesus as the Word of Hashem (the Memra) that the Patriarchs worshipped-believing that this same Word became flesh. But in response, I was told, “You’re an idolater; you worship a man, not God.” It left me thinking-if the Patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob worshipped the Word of the Lord, would that make them idolaters too?
Anyway, thanks for the advice. I’m still interested in learning about different religions, and I’m getting a clearer picture of Judaism. Some people are very Orthodox, while others seem to follow a more flexible approach to tradition.

Jews and Muslims have the same religious history that binds them to gather God Almighty had made a covenant with Prophet Abraham and that was:''And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2-3). This promise of God is fulfilled through his both sons; Ishmael and Isaac. Jacob (the son of Isaac) is called Israel in the book of Old Testament. Jacob had twelve children whom generation is called Children's of Israel in religious books. Moses and all other prophets of the Bible appeared in the generation of Israel (and Prophet Jesus was the last one). The teachings of the Bible were revealed to fulfill the needs of this group of Israel.
Prophet Moses(as) is promised three manifestations of the glory of God: ''And he said, the Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; and shined forth from Mount Paran and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.''(Deuteronomy 33:2)The first of these appeared on Sinai in the time of Moses(as). Time passed. The second manifestation promised in the prophecy was to take place at Seir, a part of the world near where the miracles of Jesus took place. "Rising up from Seir," therefore, meant the advent of Jesus(as). The third manifestation of divine glory was to take its rise from Paran, and Paran (Arabic Faran) is the name of the hills which lie between Mecca, the birth place of Muhammad (sa), and Medina, the town where he died.According to the Old Testament, Ishmael, the ancestor of Muhammad, lived in this part. Thus we have in the Bible: ''And God was with the lad (Ishmael): and he grew .... And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran. (Genesis 21:20-21) .
The Prophet of Islam Muhammad(sa),a descendant of Ishmael(son of Abraham) was sent by God Almighty after the advent of Jesus(as). The message of the Islam is not thoroughly a new Law for moral and spiritual progress of humankind as the most of its teachings had already revealed to earlier prophets. God Almighty says in the Quran about the religion of Islam:
(Quran42:14) “He has prescribed for you the religion which He enjoined on Noah, and which We have revealed to thee, and which We enjoined on Abraham (and Moses and Jesus, saying, ‘Remain steadfast in obedience, and be not divided therein.”
(Quran4:163)God Almighty says in the Quran further:''We have revealed to you,as We revealed to Noah and the prophets who came after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And We gave David the Psalm.
Prophet of Islam (sa) had explained the position of this final Law of the Quran in the following words: ''My position in relation to the other prophets is like this as a man built a house, completing it and adorning it well except for a place of one brick. When the people entered the house, they marveled at its beauty and said, But for the place of this one brick (how much more splendid the house will be) ''(Bukhari,)
Before the revelation of the Holy Quran, the guidance revealed through each prophet was designed to cater for the specific needs of the time and location; hence they were essentially temporary in nature. With the advancement and maturity of mankind God sent advanced and matured teachings suitable to their time. God Almighty has addressed mankind from the time of Adam and continued to address mankind through a number of messengers, to warn people that their happiness lay in worshiping Him and in submitting themselves to His Will, and to tell them of the terrible consequences of His disobedience. It is described by the Promised Massiah of this age: ''God’s guidance for human race commenced through Adam and reached the zenith through Prophet of Islam. As God declares in the book of Holy Quran: “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed my favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as religion.” (Quran 5:4)
