You know what always gets me about the woman who plays Ruyi?? Not the way she talks when she's angry or other strong emotions. The tell tale sign of her phenomenal acting skills are when she doesn't speak. She makes those subtle looks and facial expressions that really show her power as an actress, phenomenal. Like when it was revealed she was pregnant and the camera cut to her, so simple yet it always speaks volumes. Love her!!

It would be beneficial to her to redirect the blame away from herself. Yawan and Jia both were so guilty of harming others.

She wants her son to be the next emperor, so she hurts many people to get what she wants. This causes the mistress and her 2 sons lose their flavor.
