I first heard about front flippers maybe 5 or 6 years ago but didn't get one till a couple of years ago. It had a learning curve and I have to learn again with each new style of front flipper. The rounded off top flipper is probably the one I struggle with the most, followed by knives that have both front and back/traditional flippers that aren't designed well enough to not get in each other's way.
Ya I'm still trying to get better at using front flippers, it just takes some time. Some can be really fun if they are well-executed!
