My theory is that Enite the village leader is the reason why the village got cursed. Her house was left unharmed and she cannot leave the village while everyone else leaves. She is left there and is lonely. That's her punishment. She probably betrayed the witch somehow, some other people are mentioning broken promises, so maybe that's what happened between the witch and Enite. That could also be why Enite seems so overly sweet and nice, she's trying to make up for her past mistake. The game overall seems very cute and fun to play with an interesting plot. I'm buying it!

I turned off the voices and don't like the male leads design as well as a few other issues but yeah Portia is pretty good. I wish you could make one of the carts for yourself!
I also hated that to really get into the farming part you have to give CDs to the Luddites! It made me feel like vomiting just the idea of supporting a tech hate group!

Though I admit, when I first realised that nearly the whole town goes to that church I felt a bit weird about it. There's nothing wrong with being leery of industrialisation after what happened to their previous society, but that doesn't mean they should ignore all the benefits of technology, either. As with everything, moderation!

I reckon Enite and the previous village witch had some kind of disagreement, and the witch deliberately wrecked everyone else's houses and left Enite's alone so that the 'chief' could watch her beloved village crumble and see everyone leave it, while she stayed behind. If her house had been wrecked, she would have been forced to leave, too, but this way she could stay in the ruins and be miserable. True, she could have left with the rest, but I reckon the witch knew she wouldn't. Although, it does seem a bit mean that Enite would say she's lonely when Rubrum and Arden are still around. If it was just her, I get it, but she's got a family member and another adult for when talking to a kid gets a bit much (though it doesn't seem like Arden is much of a talker).
I wonder what would happen if you threw the weed terminator potion at a pumpkin terrior When you say stuff like ten rock, ten mud, ten branch. It makes me think of settlers of catan

Bought this after watching you play it then I found Apico. It's a game about BEES. I haven't been able to put it down. Between this and Apico I don't know what's cuter. I have a theory that when the crow says the witch returns and when Ellie mentions she feels like she's been there before. That maybe her mom use to live there and met Ellie's dad fell in love but something happened to dad that caused her to curse the village wither intentional or accidental. Then found out she was pregnant and moved to start a new life

Sun Haven might be worth a try for you. It is early access too, so much to do already and a bit like Stardew, but with more magic:) there is farming,mining,combat,romance and learning spells and stuff.
You can have acid reflux with out it being from foods. Some people's body's just naturally create more acid than normal people. Do they have you on some sort of acid reflux medicine like pantoprazole or omeprazole? Have they tested you for GERD? I'm just asking because I have bad acid reflux but mine is because of cystic fibrosis and chronic pancreatitis so I've been on many different meds and had many different tests done for it. Also one of the things that can help with acid reflux at night is if you raise the head of your bed up some so u are laying on a bit of an incline so it's hard for the acid to come up. U don't have to raise it up much just putting like a couple books or pieces of wood under the feet of the head of your bed can help alot of if u don't want to raise the whole bed you can just sleep on enough pillows to sleep on an incline.
I'm 26 and i've had terrible stomach issues since i was about 20... i have Coeliacs disease and Lactose intolarence but STILL i have acid reflux most nights 😅 i deffo have to get that looked at heh... I will say that Arla do AMAZING Lactose free cheddar, milk and cream cheese!

I'm a female in my 30s - had super bad acid reflux for too long. Started drinking alkaline water regularly and it went away. Most bottled waters are very much on the acidic side and that seems to be what caused it for me. Worth a shot - hope ya see this lol

Portia is great but on Switch it's slow to load and occasionally crashes. I hope Sandrock will run better on Switch.
