Hi 🙋♀️ thank you so much for these mittens so easy to follow. Do you have instructions for older children mittens 4-8 years old? Loved the pattern ❤️❤️🇬🇧
Can you add a thumb to this pattern for a 1-2 year old ? If so please can someone explain how I do this , I love the pattern, I’ve done the hat too . It’s looks so lovely as a baby mitten but my grandson wants things now he is a bit older
I have mittens for 1-2 years on this video th-cam.com/video/3klbmefwnH4/w-d-xo.html This other pattern what you like just do not sew all stitches together but leave space for thumb and then see other video how I making thumbs.
Hi, you have to add plus 4 chains. I think will fit, and there where I do 14 stitches for you will be 18 stitches in the middle part. The easiest way is if you can make it from nr 4 yarn then in a natural way mittens will be bigger, and for this nr 4 yarn, you can use 4,5 mm crochet hook. You have to try a few rows and then you will see fit or not.
Start with Ch 25 the start 2nd chain from hook so skipped one chain, left 24. Then can you see I wrote on the video screen first sc, ( sc 22 back loops only), sc last i= 24 stitches. 2 for edges and 22 for middle. 2 for edges crochet both loops 22 stitches back loops.
Would just like to ask the same question as Alicia is there any chance of a copy of this pattern please as I just love it and what a great tutor you are x
Very sorry but I do not have written patterns. I create patterns myself and I have small notes only. My English no good enough for write correct crochet pattern I do not know grammar
Hi, I really do not know! I do not have child these ages to try on. Do the same pattern just make more stitches cuff part and more stitches hand part. Make chain first and measure from top of fingers and down to wrist arm. when you think length is good for your child then do the same pattern just more stitches for cuff and more for hand part. Hard to tell how many exactly chains need without measuring. also for 1-2 years I think need (Thumbnail) as well.
I love your patterns but i'm just wondering is a double knit yarn the same as 8 ply yarn? Im in Western Australia & our garden is 3, 4,5 ,8 & 12 ply. Thank you 😊
@@HappyCrochetClub Thank you so much for getting back to me on yarn sizing & thank you soooo much for your wonderful videos, I find that you explain the patterns which makes them easier to understand. I look forward to seeing some more of your videos. I thoroughly enjoy learning how to crotchet from you. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
People have to understand they are not alone. There 130 000 subscribers. everybody different. Some just started learning, some already know everything. People can use settings and change video speed. The music is not easy to get. Music is copyrighted and I no need problems. If you already crochet for many years you understand how all works hook, yarn, etc but lots of people do not understand, Take different yarn bigger hook or smaller hook, and they say to me my hat too small or too big. not like yours etc. This way I try to show and explain everything at the beginning. Also, I give all measures people can measure their hats and see they made the same or not. Also, people ask lots of questions about different things by comments, and for me much easy to explain slowly when I making a new video, how to join, how to count. etc. I need a big patient to replay to everybody who asks something. I need to watch 2018 old videos and try to help people etc. So, I hope my tutorials are lovely. Never will be good enough for everybody, But I always try the maximum what I can :)
Finally starting after 3:45 upon folding and unfolding the already crocheted mittens.... jeez for crying out loud start the video!!!! I haven't gotten there yet but will she make a slip knot for 2 mins? Or single chain over and over until I wanna gouge my eyes out.....byeeeeee

Hello, what size hook are you using for this tutorial!
4.00mm
Hi hoping someone can help me understand. In the beginning she chains 25, sc 24, but then sc 22. How do you decrease 2?
Start with Ch 25 the start 2nd chain from hook so skipped one chain, left 24.
Then can you see I wrote on the video screen first sc, ( sc 22 back loops only), sc last i= 24 stitches. 2 for edges and 22 for middle. 2 for edges crochet both loops 22 stitches back loops.
