If your PH is already low you want to increase it first to around 7.8 using aeration method. Once the PH goes up then you add the acid. If you add more acid when your PH is already low it will lower your PH some more and you don't want that. This process will take days or maybe weeks to fix depending on how fast you can increase the PH so just be patient. Tip: The more you use the pool and disturb the water the faster your PH will go up. Watch the full video if you have 7 minutes as I discussed all that in this video. Hope this helps.
add soda ash from a pool store its cheap like $30 to bring up the pH... maybe the alk will not go up... that pool acid will drop fast the pH do not use that it will drop fast..

Thank you for this video! I was driving myself crazy with this problem! You are awesome!
You're welcome!
Great video! Thanks for noting that if the alkalinity is high, it will pull the pH up.
You bet!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Very helpful.
Hey, thanks for watching and leaving such a nice comment!
So I’m confused . I have low PH and alk of 150. Do I just add the acid to lower the alk and then the ph will move up?

ADD borax soap it will raise up the pH and not the alkalinity....
Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos.
