another one of your great vlogs chuck and paige ... i loved that room so knit and very roomy and that pool with all this floating pillows WOW AWESOME thanks for sharing as i watch your vlogs days and nights especially during this pandemic covid19 !!!
Chuck, your artistic vision and ability to produce and edit the shot footage, along with your smooth use of backing music, makes the videos very enjoyable to watch and very infectious!
I love Koh Samui! First island I ever visited in Thailand. I stayed in Mae Nam but went to Green Mango every night. What a great place and great memories. Enjoy!!
Haha Thailand 🇹🇭 is Love or hate relationship for me it’s like my second home home sweet home 😂 I deeply miss it during this Fckin pandemic take care mate
Lovely video even if it's empty all over samui. You're right about crystal bay, normally it's pretty packed in season. Ohh and if there is a next time, don't stop outside rock bar but go down and grab a beer or ten at their beach area. Cozy surroundings near the cliffs accompanied with some reggae music and the staff is nice. The owner drove us home one night, after we stayed very late after a lot of beers and food and couldn't get a taxi 👍
Super video. Love the resort you stayed at. Beautiful locations. And I absolutely love that music that you selected while driving through town. All the best to you from San Diego California
Man! I want to get to Thailand! I have a flight booked for Oct 16th, but I have a feeling i't's going to be a bust. So, I will just continue to live through you and Paige. Thank you!
Hi Chuck I am really enjoying your vlogs, been watching for the past few weeks and have to compliment you on how enjoyable they are to watch. Thank you for sharing. Always looks forward to the next edition. Best Wishes
Thx for the vid...Tland has so many beautiful beaches, resorts, hotels..take a lifetime to see..was interesting geology next to the beach..anyway, glad you’re getting your travel bug fed...we’re battling a virus resurgence so enjoy your freedom..happy trails 🙏🏻👍🏻✌🏻🕊
Grretings Chuck and Paige, you seem so chilled, having a lovely time and eating very well! I'm so jealous, have to agree with you about just enjoying resorts more, while tourists aren't there. But the hotels really need the business. Stay safe and I look forward to your next trip.
I'm constantly amazed by the beauty. The resorts, vegetation, food, sweet critters for Paige to love on, the drives and the beaches😍...even the occasional octopus 😱
What beautiful places your visiting,it’s great for you and Paige that no tourists can travel currently, means piece and quiet beaches to your selfs how lucky 🍀 have a great time 🌴👍🌴
Your video travelogues are so awesome Chuck. This one is such a treat! Sorry you lost your microphone, I had no idea they were so expensive. You still have creat audio quality.
💥💥💥 congratulations on 40k subs 👍🏼🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🍾 🍾🍾 another beautiful day in paradise, I would have a hard time leaving that beach front room that was spectacular for the price. Those tacos and salsa looked delicious, I judge a Mexican restaurant by its salsa. Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Paige and family 🙏🏼 Cheers 🍻
I visited Koh Samui in the early 1990s nice and very quiet, with one main built up area on the western side besides the resorts. Wow...it's very different now. Cheers
My God! My wife and I stayed in that same place back in 2003! As I watched this video I kept saying "man this looks familiar", then I dug up the old photos and sure enough, same place. Crazy! It has expanded a bit though. The noise of frogs at night had my wife and I laughing late into the evening. Small world......
Thank you so much for this little trip, I’ve been feeling a little on the down side and watching your adventures, going along with you makes my day special again.....thank you for being there. You two are very much appreciated.
This was our very first resort (Crystal Beach Yacht Club) we checked into upon landing in Thailand for the first time ever ~ Dec. 2019! We even stayed in the 2nd bungalow from the beach as well, one row over! Great rooms! What great memories!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Koh Samui is great but we enjoyed Koh Phangan as it was quieter overall. For us anyway. 😉 Look forward to visiting these islands again, hopefully early 2021...or sooner! 🤞🏼 I love Thailand!! 🇹🇭 ❤️
Oh man ! Chuck youre breakin my heart..I have been there so many times before ,but you are so lucky to see it so quiet without all the tourists..So chilled and relaxing which is what you need.Enjoy the rest of your time there.Cheers mate
Just subscribed after watching your vids for a while. Really enjoying this content and love seeing Koh Samui as my husband and I had our honeymoon there back in 2008! Watching the last few vids makes me want to go back there. Looking forward to next one, cheers!
The rooms there are setup like a suite with a separate bedroom and lounge area. It's really nice. Very gentle surf on that first beach too. The room at the second resort was also huge! You could comfortably entertain if needed.
The beaches at Ko Samui look beautiful . But I can see when the allow travelers back into Thailand , that place is going to be packed ! Also funny pictures by the rocks..Safe Travels...
Wow , Paige finds the best places ,I was there in march just before the lock down and was still a bit to bizzy for me but those taco's got me hungry LOL , Cheers guys !
Once you get out of Chawang and Lamai, life gets a whole lot quieter and more relaxed. A friend has a resort at the back of Lamai called big trees village, nice and quiet and only 5 minute drive to the beach. Over by the Rajah Ferry there is quiet resorts and more Thai country feel. I drove a car all over Koh Samui and it was only a pain in Lamai and Chawang though it's best not to rush any where.
Our first big trip together was from Chiang Mai to Koh Samui, we stayed a little further around at The Imperial Boat House, it was lovely and nice friendly restaurants nearby, I did like the island but yeah too touristy for sure, I would take my truck there and hire a scooter there again.
They were tearing down imperial boat house last year. I think they were building some new fancy resorts. I wonder how that goes during these covid 19 times.
HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, WONDERFUL VIDEO, LOVE THE ROOMS YOU ARE STAYING IN. BEING RIGHT ON THE BEACH OR JUST A LITTLE WAYS AWAY FROM IT IS NICE. LOVED THE SHOT OF YOU TAKING A NAP ON THE ROCK. DID THAT COUNT AS A "ROCK AND A HARD PLACE" LOL LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. YOU MAKE ME HUNGRY EVERY TIME YOU EAT.
Good job Chuck and Paige another great video thanks for your content Barry hear from Brisbane Australia love you work see you in the next video I’m so jealous of your life mate I hope one day to come to Thailand
Can I borrow Paige to be my tour guide on my next trip. She is great at finding hidden gems to stay, great vlogs happy I found your channel from Miami.
Looking forward to seeing your stay at The Mud. I will be moving to Koh Samui in a few months time. If you have any time before your ferry I recommend trying Hippocampe French Bakery near the jetty in Nathorn.
Wow crystal bay is unrecognizable holly crap so dirty and low tide makes it not dreamy like I was in October last year so Sad to see it like that abandoned
Sad to see all the business closed along Lamai beach. For a fantastic stay try the Beluga boutique resort on Lamai next to the grandfather cock rock at the end of Lamai.
Welcome to Koh Samui...I recall you saying to me that you missed fat belly men in Speedos 😎... happy to see they didn't let you down. Most expats here don't live in chaweng and lamai because of the tourist's, noise and crazy price's. You need to try The Shakespeare Pub for a Great Western menu and the best Sunday Roast on the island, also check out Homemade Burgers in Bantai... value and taste are again 100%. We need to see Chuck in his Speedos 😎...I Dare You..🤣🤣
koh Samui has changed a lot since the days of the 80's. I remember all the cocconut trees and little bungelows right on the beach for three dollars a night with a fan.
Thanks again for showing your adventures... I enjoy the calmness you show... but the times when it gets bonkers... meh... lol, Keep living the dream!!!
You certainly see so much more when you have car. But coming as a tourist it's impossible to rent a car for 4 months. It may be possible but not for the budget. Would love to see the whole country on my time.
Definitely living life through y'all at this point , we have a small family trip planned for port Aransas tx but we think they will close to beach soon. - keep us entertained
Gidday, those birds at the restaurant are "Indian Minor" birds. They are an introduced pest and take over from the local birds. I was visiting Tasmania in February and there small native birds everywhere, just as I remembered there being when I was a kid in Queensland, but nowadays they are nearly all gone. Those things are truly rats with wings. There must be a way we can turn them into some type of food and sell them to the Chinese. Could be an alternative to bats.
congrats to 40000 subs ! ! love your channel, sitting here in sweden and waiting for lockups..thanks for great info. my wife need a new bag, where to find the dealer for the red bag you show up in this video ? do they have a website ? keep up the great work Chuck n Page, maybe we meet in Isaan... Claes n Yam..BuaYai-Sweden
with that optcopus.....are you sure that was a black cloud in the water and not a big brown cloud?! haha was surprised how much cheese on those tacos, usually here in Thailand just a small amount.
No complaints from me. I always look forward to your next adventure. Thanks Chuck and Paige.
Kho Samui is my favourite island, myself and my misses have had some really lovely times there we will get back there soon i hope.😎😎🙏🙏👍👍
perfect timing to go. Clean and serene. Can really take in the scenery without the overcrowding. very nice.

Seems like Samui is still a paradise after all these years,
Love the music at beginning. Relax. 😎🌞🌊
Lovely video even if it's empty all over samui. You're right about crystal bay, normally it's pretty packed in season. I would be sad to leave that hotel, especially that room. Good series!

Such a beautiful place - thanks for sharing your adventures! :-)
Great video Chuck! I agree, a more peaceful beach without lots of children is best!! we have earned it! go Chuck and Paige!
Nice video Chuck, we enjoyed it.
I'm constantly amazed by the beauty. The resorts, vegetation, food, sweet critters for Paige to love on, the drives and the beaches😍...even the occasional octopus 😱

Its never to early for a beer chuck
Never seen Lamai so quiet! Such a shame had some fantastic times there in the 90's 😊
If your still there on Sunday Chuck, the yacht club restaurant has a great band every Sunday. Cruisey arvo and nice pool
aweome video dude, one of your best.

No jet ski operators?Priceless.
koh Samui has changed a lot since the days of the 80's. I remember all the cocconut trees and little bungelows right on the beach for three dollars a night with a fan.
I like french fries with mayo, better with gravy tho. But french fries with tarter sauce is great
Thanks again for showing your adventures... I enjoy the calmness you show... but the times when it gets bonkers... meh... lol, Keep living the dream!!!
We stayed at Christel Bay last year. Nice place
