In the 2nd fight they both could have done more to be honest, but it was up to Valentina to take the belt from Amanda.
She's already the GOAT for womens MMA... she knocked Cyborg and Rousey out within the first round, both were stated as the greatest female fighters at some point in their career.
Her resume is a murderers row of women's MMA. She put down Rousey, Cyborg and Tate in the first round. Her credentials are unmatched.

Joshua M. Holly Holm has been on a decline since she lost the belt, she's lost 4 of her last 6 fights, she's a beast but she won't be the GOAT if she beats Nunes.
If she beats Holly, then beats Valentina and cyborg again she will have one of the most impressive resumes in MMA history. Not even taking the fact that she's a female, she will be one of the best MMA fighters ever if not the best.
Amanda Nunes is a bad ass fighter, but she also has great fight IQ and adaptability, which don't get talked about much. She knew exactly how Rhonda and Cyborg will approach the fight and adapted her offences according to it.

Bro I swear I comment the same damn thing all the time. Amanda’s fight iq is so damn underrated. To the untrained eye she’s just in there swinging away. But she is calculated. It’s almost like how Felix Trinidad would pressure people into making mistakes and bombing them out.
Glad I'm not the only one alone on this. People look at her and think "Big Punching Brazilian with an accent" and overlook how much her awareness and fight IQ have improved over the years. From being patient against Schevchenko in the second fight, to drawing out a systematic beatdown against Pennington, using Cyborg's emotions against her, and then timing and head kicking HOLLY HOLM of all people, Mandy Nunes is an all-around fighter in every sense of the phrase.
Imagine if Holly Holm came out to a Valentina Muay Thai stance in round 1 and throws off Amanda whole game lol.

well,Cyborg has been kicking everyone ass at 145,and since the zingano loss Nunes has been beating the brakes of everyone at 135 so the only legit opponent for both nunes and cyborg are eachother. Now nunes is fighting holly and cyborg is fighting Spencer. if they both win again I say run it back! now cyborg knows how dangerous nunes is and she can prepare better. if nunes beats cyborg again its a sealed deal but if cyborg wins we can have ourself that triology going. that would be BIG business for UFC and cool fights for us fans ;)
When someone loses a title than its normal for them to get a rematch, especially if it generates huge payout for UFC, and Nunes Cyborg 2 would definitely sell ppv's and tickets.

I have really grown to like Nunez the more I've heard her talk and the progression in her over all MMA game especially her ability to sit down on her punches is incredible over her UFC career she has really evolved
