Ahead of your rematch with Jon Jones when he tested positive again and fight was cancelled, you said to Dana that you still want to fight him even if he is on steroids. It just shows what type of competitor you are and it shows that you are the true champion always!
Colby also left them same coaches. If you listen to the corner advice given in the first Usman fight the head coach just told him to take deep breathes. Offered no advice or adjustments. I’m not even a Colby guy but I noticed how weird that was. Makes sense why she would make the switch
DC has come along way. I love this style of interview. A former fighter thats very intelligent , improving his craft at journalism and being able to really get the honest answers from fighters. Only someone with their experience can make real fighter interviews magic.

It's awesome how fluent Amanda has become in English. While I don't think anyone should feel any obligation to learn it, because of the fact it's one of the most common languages, it's nice seeing more fighters learning it and being able to converse easily and without the translator. Ngannou's another one like this.

I'd say it's...I suppose a bit more understandable if you have a a person from an older generation who has moved with the family to a new country and rarely, if ever goes out of the house, meaning they're in their small world of culture. But people who go out into this new area? Yeah, learn the language, for you and the people around you.

I think the barrages, intensity etc tired her along with not feeling up to her usual fierceness as we've seen her get rocked & rather overwhelmed by GDR whose striking was superior but Amanda was able to rely on her ground game & take control back there which is why I tend to believe she was feeling off that night with Pena. The upside for Pena is her ground game is far better than GDR's so she can compete there. I am not going to underestimate either of these 2 ladies & I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements & adjustments each made & how it plays out on Saturday. Respect to both. Best of luck to both & I hope they r at peak performance so we can see an adequate & accurate result between both competitors.

I genuinely don't think she's making excuses, it's like the Khamzat Chimaev situation where he was forcing himself to train but his lungs weren't ready but his coaches made him take almost a year off(obviously still training but not forcing it at the start) you have to listen when your body is telling you something, imagine how terrible life would be without modern medicine.

We were all convinced including Amanda and her team that she didn’t have to be on her A game to beat Julianna, but Julianna proved that to be false, much to respect to her she’s a warrior. My heart will always be with the champ champ though because I know she’s the best.
Amanda is so nice. But Julianna has grown on me too. I like both of them. I just want to see a real good fight where they both do their best and it's entertaining to watch. It'd be crazy if it were better then their first fight.
I always love it when I hear someone speak English when they learned it later in life. It tells me so much about them. They have this fire to be independent and self sufficient. I love it! This fight is tough to pick because I love both Julianna and Amanda. They are both kind souls.

Either that or Nunes' aforementioned injuries + Covid were greatly exacerbated and all this is just more post loss bs fighters convince us of haha. Should be a banger either way.
