Pursuit of Happiness - Cover by Lilith

Here's my cover of one of my favourite songs, so happy to finally share it with you all! Many thanks to Burak Kocaman (insta: @burakkocaman69)for the amazing audio production and to Jannis Wernecke for this beautiful video!
Here's a little realiziation I had while working on it:
Perfectionism has always kept me from sharing my music. There is a lot of pressure nowadays to produce high-quality audio and video, to be fierce and flawless. So, when we were filming this video, I felt this pressure. I wanted to appear confident and strong while actually feeling the opposite. I was worried about so many things at the same time. But when I started singing I noticed that the more I allowed myself to be vulnerable and insecure, the more I could flow, the clearer my voice sounded, and the more I could connect with the others. And that's when I understood that I don't want my music to be about perfection; I don't want to come across as someone who has it all together; instead, I want it to be about expressing who I am. Realizing that relieves all of the stress that had been keeping me from pursuing my passion for music; from my pursuit of happiness :-)
