      @T D Mendoza I'm so glad you are finding the information you need, and I trust you will find what you need to reverse this disease! :- ) When nutrition is so important, it's incomprehensible to me that so little importance is given to it by our medical system. I also agree that the government needs to back out of our doctor's offices when a few rare - very brave doctors wish to treat unrelenting pain, and give their patients' lives back.

    Every day I usually start my day around 1pm with 1 Berrocca tablet in water with 2 Tbls of Apple Cider Vinegar.
    I don't have my meal until 6.30pm and I have been cooking cabbage, red & green capsicum, bacon, celery seasoned with Dukkah, Pink Himalayan salt, pepper, mixed herbs, Turmeric, and bacon seasoning. I also have this with 2 fried eggs. Is this passable on Keto? I fast between 7.30pm until 1pm the next day.

      Except if you have thick blood. I don't use K2 or D3. Everybody's different. I had a heart attack & stroke in "02" & then changed my diet. I use Vit E 400mg with 3 brazil nuts a day as a blood thinner. Im 69 in this foto, 4 years ago-now 73. I jog 1 mi in am. I go with the Alkaline Diet, the Bloodtype O diet, & the diabetes diet. I have 7 planets in Fire, so can eat some sweets, but if i use salt on my food-i instantly swell & get pre-diabetic, (Diabetes killed my mom). Im a Taurus & take extra copper to prevent strokes as it elesticizes the blood vessels. The Selenium prevents heart attacks. My granddad died at 51. Lots of green at every meal. I also get low blood sugar, so eat small meals, 5x a day, never after 8pm, as suggested by my mentor, Hugh Lynn Cayce, back in 80-81. Lots of fluids 20 min b4 meals. Best books that changed my life: "The Cure for All Diseases" by Dr. Hilda Clark; "Alkalinize or Die" by Dr Theodore Baroody; & "Dead Doctors Don't Lie ( Appendix A & B) by Dr Joel Wallach. I do not trust much current medical research because the findings seem to concur to the Doctors funding sources wishes.

    This is an update to my K2 post above. I began taking a good quality K2 and wound up breaking out all over with welts and hives, hundreds of them, lasting a miserable ten days until I saw my PCP upon which time I began taking pills for allergies and using anti itch cream. This provided some intermittant temp relief, but did not nothing to stop them from coming. I then began a 6 day regimen of prednisone, which I was adamantly against, but it helped within 6 hours! I have NEVER had allergies before the K2, and it was the only thing different I had introduced into my life, ingesting or otherwise. So, be careful with this and watch for changes. This can mount up in your system. It took me about a month to have a reaction. (I'm in my 70's)

    Now that I'm 60 I've become almost a nutrition neard, just like Thomas. Although he also is into body shaping etc., and that's sort of too much of a hard work for me. Have also done a lot of studying lately and gradually improving the supplements in order to keep it cost effecient and good at the same time. Regarding the selenium aspect here my personal notes. This all comes from a study from 2013 and reaches back to 2008. Short conclusion: When taking Vitamin E in high dosis (in those studies it was not mentioned if natural or artificial source) alone, then Selenium actively reduces the chance of prostate cancer. In an conclusion of 2013 they argued, it obviously limits the damaging effects of an overdose of Vit. E. But without Vitamin E, and only Selenium in higher doses alone, there was a higher chance of prostate cancer, if the patients had overall normal levels of Selenium (tested on their footnails) anyway. For me that means, having some natural Vit. E complexes in conjunction with low dosage of Selenium looks ok, cause its a conglumerate of various ingredients, not a single super dose, which his always risky.... The problem is often, how to get rid of a certain ingredient in a multivitamin/mineral product. So the natural ones are for me more optimal, even if more costly.

    Please redo this video! Vitamin D does NOT put calcium where it needs to go. It only absorbs calcium. K2 (in the form of MK7 ) transports calcium to where it needs to go. This is so important!

    Timestamp 6:27 - Iron. I used to donate blood. For a week before my donation, I would eat daily a standard portion of spinach. At the time of donation, I would blood test at the top of the blood iron concentration range. So, dark leafy green veggies will boost blood iron concentrations. Is that a good thing? I just don't know. Spot testing vs longterm levels is an interesting concept, which I've not seen much discussion over. Cheers.

My heart doctor approved the calcium. Malabsorption comes with gastric bypass surgery so even though I'm a tall woman I loss bone mass due to malabsorption.

    Vit D does not put the calcium in the proper place. It only aides in absorbing of calcium from what you eat or from the calcium supplement. But there is no need for calcium if you are deficient on that. The culprit is deficiency in Vit D. So taking Vit D will rectify that. BUT! In order for calcium to go to the proper places, like being pushed into the bones you need to supplement with Vit K2. If you supplement with 100mcg K2 per 5-10,000IU of Vit d you are good to go. If you eat lots of leafy greens you don't need 100mcg K2 for the first 10,000 IU of Vit D.
    But Vit D from natural sources are metabolized differently and then you would not need K2.

    • @dakingakings7184
      @dakingakings7184 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@andrewrivera4029 You will get more yes. But people don't spend that much time out in the sun to get sufficient levels. And the more tanned you get the less Vit D the body will make. That is why people have fair complexion in the Nordic hemispheres to produce more Vitamin D. But that will be negated by being more and more tanned. Hence even the blackest people in the middle of Africa can be more deficient than people in the Nordic hemisphere. You will be fine if you run butt-naked all day long in the sun to store up Vitamin D. But that will only last so long when you get really tanned, then you will start depleting your Vitamin D.
      You can maintain sufficient levels a while longer by eating the right food though. But that will come to an end too.
      I have had a research lab since 1984 on natural medicine. And we have yet to see someone testing for sufficient levels of Vitamin D even if they are out in the sun all day long.
