Man…that’s the entire point of Adam joining team RTR! Vaughan taking Adam under his wing! He saw the potential in Adam, and knew there is a SERIOUS driver in there! And with a little coaching, Adam WILL be the best!
It’s a good balance, Chelsea is brutally honest which is what Adam needs. Vaughan is super encouraging. Adams also got a ton more power then before when he was playing catch up the whole time. Good recipe for some serious improvement this season.

Adam gets to be in the best possible position to progress as a driver on a great team and the team gets a massive boost in marketing.

Once he starts clicking on all cylinders it’ll be great to see that team leading the pack in FD this season or at least in the running. He did great but once he’s had a little more time with the car and is able to re train his brain to not worry so much about some things he had to with owning his own team it’ll be the icing on the cake he needs!

Add a dummy light on the dash that only comes on for dangerously low oil pressure. That way if your mid run and miss the drop in pressure you will know immediately.
Tuerk placed that car on the walls like he was moving around a hot wheels with his hands. I'm interested to see if he can continue to replicate that kinda insane driving consistently...well that would be bad news for everyone else but still!!

Ya, have to agree here. Even hearing the excuse after during the in car interview. "Too close, not where I (Adam) wanted to be..." Easy to guess he panicked and locked it up. I want him to do well, just scared we're going to see a repeat of last season (qualify good, choke first round). Hopefully he can get out of his own head, but that comes with experience.
He's got no personal issues to deal with for that what a stupid thing to say, we all deal with that especially the very first event of the year, unless people are completely kicks clueless on our sport It's pretty obvious the car was a big issue last year getting it solid and consistent now he can finally just drive like it should be for everyone to do their best .. and its not gunna happen the very first event and with a completely new setup it's different than anything he's ever drifted they barely gave him anytime behind the wheel of this car yet and I remember how long it took Chelsea to get accustom to it in the beginning so he's already ahead of the curve for just changing EVERYTHING... And going back n forth between lhd and rhd is a whole other challenge in of itself.. stop making comments on what you don't know that's how fake rumors and nonsense is spread to people who lack common sense in drifting

You did your absolute best during the livestream. Using the skills from RTR have progressed you, however with all the hate from the livestream, they do not understand how hardworking an individual you are from youtube, buying the compound, and as a drifter. Unfortunate you had issues against Masuyama (sorry if I misspelled it), but overall your in a new chassis, new team, whole new everything. Next round you’ll have the confidence and feel to make more of a run up through into top 8’s and above, and become more competitive. It’s not easy, and the real fans understand that🤙🏼🤙🏻
Agreed. It was the same thing with Checo in Formula 1. New team, had to adapt, took him a while but he got it. Same with Adam. New team new car, but he’ll adjust no doubt

A purposely tightened long beach track (look at last years layout) where most cars are a super long wheelbase, A Toyota sponsored event where they revealed a new Corolla that is super short wheelbase that just so happens to be in the hands of the dude who won every battle and the round? In the finals they pitted him against the freshest youngest driver just to ensure a win.. Tuerk also seemed overly confident about him definitely winning this round on the livestream
Guarantee he learns from this like every event... he uncontrollably prolly stressed about being a TH-camr with professional drifters and wants to succeed... real fans support and love win or loose. Now first event is done Hopefully everything falls into place. No matter what he is a legit talented driver. And success will happen naturally
For me, it would be the stress of filling Vaughn's seat. The team is taking a massive risk by giving up some wins/podiums for increased exposure through Adam's channel. They'll eventually want the wins more their exposure is saturated and their audience has been captured. If Adam can't compete by that time he'll be gone. If he's not competitive by next season, there won't be a third.
If you want to be the best you need more practice. This is not a weekend hobby. People put alot of work into these cars to make it perfect. You need to start taking it serious.
It still just blows my mind to see Adam go from his bmx days to being a car guy and then pro Formula Drift driver of his own accord and now being a part of the RTR team. Tears of joy.

Adam looks so natural in the RTR mustang, i know he has more time in s chassis. but looks like he can do some incredible driving this season. keep up the amazing driving Adam, cant wait to see you compete
Adam's kinda hesitant to add angle because of the fear of spinning out. But I think more angle is more suitable on the mustang chassis and lessen the left foot break just like vaughn and chelsea's driving style especially chelsea, unlike his s15 that isn't dialed and spins out more easier. But he's in a new chassis and progressing rapidly that's cool. I think that' s what holding adam back (JUST AN OPINION)
My psychiatrist told me years ago that the unique make up of jelly babies, sold here in the UK, actually help with anxiety, I laughed at him to start with but erm........ It does actually work, a couple of my friends have tried it also and had good results. Thought this might help somebody. 🤷♂️

One thing that I noticed was the HUGE amount of hate there is in FD coments, especially towards you Adam. I come from F1 where the toxicity levels are waaaay up there, and expected this to be the opposite, how wrong was I. I know its normal and there is haters everywhere but the amount of pressure they put on Adam was unreal. And dont get me wrong each driver as its own haters and pressure, Im just saying it looked like everyone was hoping for Adam to crash or have a bad run.
Adam, have you ever thought of a sports psychologist? They are not a negative thing. There's professionals in every level that use them. It helps you get that extra 10% performance when the moment is clutch. I've seen and heard great things about using them, as long as they are vetted. Just like any psychologist.

Unreal seeing this from Adams perspective. This is great behind the scenes of a professional team. So much work its unreal. Same with the pressure but I'm sure Adam has help keeping his mindset strong. Can't wait to see what these guys do this year!

Adam's kinda hesitant to add angle because of the fear of spinning out. But I think more angle is more suitable on the mustang chassis and lessen the left foot break just like vaughn and chelsea's driving style especially chelsea, unlike his s15 that isn't dialed and spins out more easier. But he's in a new chassis and progressing rapidly that's cool. I think that' s what holding adam back (JUST AN OPINION)

One thing that I noticed was the HUGE amount of hate there is in FD coments, especially towards you Adam.
I come from F1 where the toxicity levels are waaaay up there, and expected this to be the opposite, how wrong was I.
I know its normal and there is haters everywhere but the amount of pressure they put on Adam was unreal.
And dont get me wrong each driver as its own haters and pressure, Im just saying it looked like everyone was hoping for Adam to crash or have a bad run.
Adam, have you ever thought of a sports psychologist? They are not a negative thing. There's professionals in every level that use them. It helps you get that extra 10% performance when the moment is clutch. I've seen and heard great things about using them, as long as they are vetted. Just like any psychologist.
