- Wick is a really feature-rich bot so it will take sometime to setup, that's why the video is 36 minutes lol.
Wick is a fantastic Discord bot that can prevent server nukes and raids as well as keep the chat clean from bots using its verification and automod feature. These great features however result in a bot that can be a bit confusing to set up for first timers. In this video moving picture tutorial, I'll show you how to set up Wick and I'll explain what each feature of Wick does along the way. Tighten up those laces because Wick takes a bit of time to setup.

My server has had a lot of raiders/ spammers join recently (a lot for my smaller server) and it was getting hard to handle by myself. I just invited Wick yesterday but I did not set up everything because the tutorial I watched initially wasn't as in depth. This was super well done, helpful and I enjoy your content. :)
I am a small content creator. 2 of my haters keep joining and adding a nukt bot. i ban them but they add their alt accou ts and without perms unban themselves and add the bot WITHOUT PERMS.

in the main role only put the role that everyone has don't put the level roles and etc because if they get muted then unmuted all the main roles will be given to them. its like get muted for a reward lol
i know it can be alot to make tutorial vid but could you possibly make an updated vid since wick has updated there stuff and dashboard and is a bit confusing layout from what in this vid. great vid tho and explaining things. no matter what you got my sub

I think the Main Role in Static Section means a role that u get automatically when u join the server. I've tested it before so yeaa. Btw this video helped me royally so thanku!

Just one question comes to my mind, and is: if I have "DYNO" and "Security" bots, should I kick both, keep them or which one should I kick, because I think Wick is the one that I like the most but I dont know if it is going to be intefere with those other 2 bots that I already have.

Honestly, this bot is fantastic, I've used it for my own discord and it works flawlessly for moderation. I wish it had a few more utility commands

Hello! I am a wick bot moderator and would 100% recommend wick even with dyno already being present because:
Wick is a moderation and security bot, dyno is a utility bot, meaning that wick is gonna have features catered directly to moderation and security features such as anti nuke settings and anti raid. Wicks moderation commands are a lot better than dynos as well as our automod is a lot better (in no way shape or form is this me ragging on dyno, they have a lot better of stuff then us to such as utility commands since wick doesn’t have them)

@@zadu9376 Thanks. I figured as much with quarantine. I suppose I should have taken more time on the comment. It should have read, with everything Wick does, should it go over owner. However, now that i think about it, nothing should go above owner.
@@DjPorkchop73 owner can do anything any restrictions does not apply over owner however , if you make any custom owner role in server wick's anti nuke system can be apply over it because server and bot understands cutom owner as a admin only but if someone have actual owner power wick can't touch that person.
Thanks all. 1 final question though. I believe I Know the answer but better to ask than to not. When He mentioned to NOT give kick and ban to admin, if the administrator option is ticked at the bottom of the permissions, do they not already have kick and ban no matter what? And if so, do we disable the admin option and only give the admin role certain permissions?

does it matter if you already have the Quarantine and Muted Roles setup? I didn't know it would auto create them so I created the roles before running the w!setup... anything I should update? or should I just remove wick and start fresh? (as your tutorial is WAAAAY BETTER to follow and understand than the one I used... thx!
I use wick and gave it the nick name wick moderation. kick ban and mute permission on on admin or mod roles doesn't matter if they are on or not. you can just make sure staff roles can use wicks ban, kick, mute and warn slash commands

Hi there, I'm having an issue with the reaction roles mee6, everytime someone react to get the role, wick quarentine mee6. Is there a way to prevent this?
Everything went fine my only problem is that after I made Wick's setup the mute role didn't showed up. DId I made any mistakes?

how can I lockdown -blind all the server channels including the private ones, Wick only removes the role permissions. But category permissions still remains because of the hierarchy of permissions which is roles>category>channels. Any tips pls?

I'm really stuck up on my server, it's already a full running server, i was using dyno verification bot but it didn't really block these fake acc, some folks even by-passed it, but on trying to add wick, it fails to add the quarantine role, and right now all the channels are hidden from the users, it shows them only one server (rules channel), its really frustrating... I have put wick up as priority.. I have even reminded dyno bot from integration but no progress

For the kick and ban permissions being off does this mean I can no longer have my staff having admin perms? Because some of the SHR's have admin permissions.

yes you can still kick using wick if you say in chat w! kick user

Hi, you may give other members Extra Owner to fully manage Wick. This may be done via the dashboard permit tab. Please note this gives full power to the users you add to configure Wick Bot.
