Just noticed you use an ancient map of Gaul which is eerily similar to your WW2 map of France. lol. Nice Easter Egg. Love the names you are slapping on to these guys.
Thanks, this is a lot of fun to follow! looking forward to the next battle! BTW love the trees you have got on your table, would be interested in a tutorial how you make them
They are cheap China import trees from amazon or wish or something, but we sprayed them dark brown and then re-flocked them with the same flock blends we use of the boards - so they blend in well.
Well half and half. Games don't snowball because if you are a smaller force put get free mercs to level you up to see value... ironically.... this allows a bit of list customisation which the stronger player cannot do. He gets his warband
As to balance, hard to say... 3 for 3 to the celts looks bad, but tbh the Romans never used bigger units which might make a big difference... we shall see
Super enjoyable having a detailed, up to date SPQR series to watch - keep it coming lads 👏🏻
Need to paint me some dawgs.
Looking forward to the next installment of this. Just picked up a copy of SPQR (through Wayland, having gone through your affiliate link).
Thanks for that mate - we are hoping to get the next one done over Easter.

Velux skylight, sweet jeaysus the names are hilarious.
Yeah, that one pre-dates the broader theme we adopted since.
Eagerly awaiting the next instalment. Will the Romans break their loosing streak.
There is always a chance...
Cant wait next battle! War dogs will be very interesting!😃
Gotta get those fellas painted.
Good fun again, very much enjoying the silliness of this - am I not entertained?

Is campaign snowballing, or its fair?
