Those are from 2009. JD era Zenith's. Believe he was the 2nd owner. Speed channel had a series called "Lowriding" where they visited his shop. 😎

They are different now because Mr. Craig the original maker of Zenith passed away . The employees took over the company and they are cutting corners …
Any problems with the rim rubbing on the brake caliper ?
Not the caliper but the caliper bolts, I have to shave them down 1/8” all good now 👍

So the question we’re all wondering is… where can we get real zeniths?
Well they don’t make them anymore, you’d have to find a old set. They pop up every now and then. Series 2s are my favorite, they go for up to 5-6k for a set.
At that point I’d personally rather just buy a set of new Daytons.
The load range on that tire is 79. If the cops wanted to, they could ticket you or even put the car out of service. I heard about a guy who lived in Oak Lawn (we live in Marquette) who had under rated tires on his car. The cops pulled him over and told him the car was too heavy for his tires. He started to argue with them when suddenly 20 more cops showed up and they blasted him to death. Around 300 bullets in his back. They said he was trying to flee. All the officers were given marksmanship badges for "Good Shooting". I don't know where you live, but that's the way the cops do people in Chicago. That's why I drive an old salt rusted Chicago scram car.
Those zenith with the ring are chinas real zenith on back of hubs and ko will be casted and say zenith
The new ones are Chinese, zenith did in fact make hubs with rings on them, zenith was the first and only to have rings on hubs until the Chinese replicated them.
The replicas only came after zenith went out of business.
@Red Rocket 64 you are correct, your hubbs should have Zenith and the year stamped on it, and the the kos have the patent stamped on them, now that you have the Sweps, just sell me the locking kos lol
