A comprhensive review of the Pallisade. I happen to know her intimately because my son bought a 2021 one. He was looking for a Telluride but couldn't find one on any dealers'lots and settled for the Pallisade. A 'digital monstruosity' I call it. I'd never pay 48,000 for one, nor would I settle for a lower trim. If I purchased one I'd get a 3 to 5 year old preowned. My son has 4 kids and needed a large vehicle to accomodate 6 (4 growing kids and 2 adults). It drives wel with reasonable fuel consuption for something this heavy. The digital gizmos are like driving a video game system. It's however safe for its size and the best warranty in the business no doubt. Other than that, the corporate brother the Telluride looks much nicer. Throughout the three years my son had it ('21-'24) the car was recalled on several occassions and had some repairs, mostly cosmetic, done under warranty. Thanks for reviewing it.
Haha that’s funny. It was better than I expected but I’m still on the fence with this brand. Although compared to the issues other brands are having with cylinder deactivation and design flaws maybe Hyundai/Kia is now the way to go lol. Hopefully others start copying their warranty.
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 EV stuff is going to be a great equalizer for brand quality I think. It’s nearly all the same tech and parts so engine issues will just be a thing of the past. I’m sure the brand is here to stay given they seem to have improved quality and that warranty is attractive to many.
You guys are funny. Hyundai has been around longer than some other brands (1967) including Tesla😂 They even own Genesis as a luxury brand. Do your research before commenting. It just came to US little late that is all.
The only thing that brings the Palisade down is the anchor of a powertrain. The old school 3.8 is not a good fit especially nowadays with 300+hp vehicles as the norm. Hyundai definitely needs to upgrade their powertrains especially as they have become a bigger manufacturer with the success of these vehicles. Hopefully they don't go the GM route with tiny turbo charged four bangers that sound gutless and are mostly mediocre in reliability. My suggestion would be a port and direct injected 3.5 V6 with 300+hp and 280+lb of torque. Simple, reliable and shouldn't be a anchor. Follow the succes of the VQ 3.5 from Nissan, Honda's J 3.5 and Toyota 's GR 3.5 🤙🏽♥️
do a kona next please. have had first gen loved it, but was asked to have it traded in by the dealer for a new one with a steal of a price since people still love the first gen. now the 2024 model is insane on the interior. its gotten alot heavier in my opinion, its not nearly as fun to play with in the snow which is a bummer, but its alot more enjoyable to be in compared to the first gen
This is my exact car. Could not be more happier!
I’m glad to hear that!!
Can a 6’ individual fit in the back row comfortably?
Great video on the Palisade. My daughter just purchased and just loves it.
Thanks! That’s really cool, I’m glad she’s enjoying it.

I’ve been lucky enough to get just the color I wanted! It’s so dark blue it looks black. Also, I was born in 1967! Perfect car and color for me!!!
Haha that is perfect, thanks for sharing!!
I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss a trade; if all goes well, I'll have a 2025 Palisade Urban all blacked out.
Very cool!!
According to the magazine reviews this is the greatest thing on earth. I’m not sure I would even want it as a rental. Strange times

@@al151 still would never own anything from that brand 🤷♂️ being around a long time doesn’t make it good.

I’d love to drive and film the new one if I get the chance! I’ll definitely keep an eye out. Thanks for the suggestion!
